BENTON COUNTY, SR-69:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at Rocky Ridge Road to the Henry County line.  A flagman will be on site.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River.  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows.  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 9.5’ lane restriction.

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-22:  Bridge Repair on State Route 22 over Dry Creek at the intersection of Willis Road.  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  A signal system is active and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 11’ lane restriction.  A detour will be put in place for Willis Road during the lane closure.

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-365:  Temporary lanes closures each day for resurfacing beginning at US-45 Bypass (State Route 5) and extending to White Avenue.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20:  Temporary lanes closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the Dyer County line to Lyons/Birmingham Road.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20:  Northbound outside lane at log mile 1.66 to log mile 1.28 will be closed approximately a month for intersection improvements.  Southbound outside lane at log mile 1.20 to log mile 1.47 will be closed approximately a month for intersection improvements.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY, SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 at the Crockett/Gibson County line.  The roadway is CLOSED with a detour route posted.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-114:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at State Route 202 to the Henderson County line.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-202:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at State Route 69 to State Route 20.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over overflow log mile 19.67.  A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median.  Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zone and also crossing the roadway.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-76:  Construction of four (4) bridges on State Route 76 over North Fork Wolf River and overflows.  Roadway is OPEN, intermittent lane closures possible with flagmen.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:  Six (6) bridges are being replaced on State Route 194 between State Route 57 and State Route 15 (US-64).  Motorists should watch for construction vehicles entering and exiting the work zones.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:  Temporary lane closures are possible for the installation of safety improvements on State Route 194 in Fayette County.  A flagman will be onsite to direct traffic.

FAYETTE COUNTY SR-196:  Temporary lanes closures are possible for the installation of safety improvements on State Route 196 in Fayette County.  A flagman will be on site to direct traffic when the new signs are being installed.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  Traffic has been shifted from east of State Route 188 to the proposed eastbound lanes.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-152:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the WTNN Railroad to the Madison County line.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-186:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing at State Route 76 to Wallsmith Branch Bridge.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-366:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning north of State Route 5 (Viking Drive to (US-70A/79) State Route 76.  Traffic is reduced to one lane with flagmen.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-15:  A widening project between East of Margin Street to near Hornsby Loop Road.  All lanes are OPEN.  Ongoing work could cause temporary lane closures throughout project.  Flaggers are present.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-15:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the Fayette County line and extending to the bridge over Clear Creek.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek.  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  There will be lane closures north and southbound with a temporary signal in place.  One lane will remain open, in each direction. 

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the US-64BR (West Main Street) and extending to US-64BR (East Main Street).

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114:  Bridge Repair over the Tennessee River at Clifton. Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  There will be lane shifts east and westbound on State Route 114.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-142Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at State Route 57 and extending to the Mississippi State Line.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction for the West Tennessee Solar Farm and Welcome Center, including removal of Albright Road bridge.

Saturday October 19, 8:00 p. m.-8:00 a. m.:  I-40 westbound will be CLOSED from Exit 35 to Exit 56, for the demolition of Albright Road overhead bridge.  Detour route will be posted.  Eastbound I-40 will be reduced to one lane.  THP will assist with traffic control.  WEATHER PERMITTING.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station ramps. Sunday October 20 through Thursday October 24, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 westbound & eastbound (MM 57.0 to MM 55.0) for the installation of barrier rail.  THP will assist with traffic control.

LOOK AHEAD: Beginning Sunday October 20:  East and westbound “ON” ramps will be closed at exit 56

HENDERSON COUNTY, I-40:  Bridge repair project over Middle Fork Forked Deer River (between mile marker 98-99) & over Dabbs Creek (between mile markers 112-114).  The shoulders are open at (Middle Forked Deer River) east and westbound.

HENDERSON COUNTY, I-40:  LOOK AHEAD:  Saturday October 26, 6:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound (between mile markers 101-108), for milling and paving operations.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-20:  A widening project on State Route 20 (US-412) from State Route 114 to the Decatur County Line.  All lanes (new and existing) and adjacent side roads are now OPEN.  Ongoing work could cause temporary lane closures throughout project.  Flaggers are present.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-22:  A bridge repair project will cause lane closures on State Route 22 over I-40 in both north and southbound lanes.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge repair project over the Beech River.  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  Temporary lane closures north and southbound on SR 104 with temporary signal in place. One lane will remain open, in each direction.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  There are lane shifts throughout the project.  State Route 22 is closed from intersection of State Route 212 and Vaughn Road North to Cates Landing Road. Detour 3.5 miles on Vaughn Road to State Route 22 Cates Landing Road.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3:  Bridge Repair (2) on US-51 (State Route 3) over Chambers Branch 23.94 right and left.  LOOK AHEAD:  Beginning October 16, 2013, traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10’ 6” lane restriction.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-209:  Miscellaneous safety improvements at the intersection of State Route 209 and Heathcott Road.  There will be temporary lane closure for the duration of this project.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40:  Saturday October 19, 6:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound (between mile markers 75-78), for milling and paving operations.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-1:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at State Route 223 to State Route 186.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-1:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning west of Cave House Road and extending to Key Center Road.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-224:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge on State Route 224 over Graham Creek.  All lanes are now OPEN.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  The I-55 Welcome Center is CLOSED due to construction of a new facility.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  The left (inside) shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street is closed.  The Eastbound EXIT to Front Street is closed.  Traffic on Front Street between Jackson Avenue and Poplar Avenue is restricted to one lane in each direction.  The right lane of the entrance ramp from Front Street to Westbound I-40 is CLOSED.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9: Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  West of the I-40 MS River Bridge, the outside eastbound lane is closed. The lane closure is anticipated to remain in place until December 2013.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Memphis Smartway Transportation (ITS) I-40 beginning at SR-177 (Germantown Road) in Shelby County extending to Braden Road Overpass in Fayette County:

Wednesday October 16 through Tuesday October 22, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following location, for the purpose of ITS wireless camera antenna repair.

  •  I-40, Shelby County, westbound lane MM 27.5 to MM 26.5, one lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 westbound over Levee Road  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  The westbound shoulder will be closed for the duration of the project.  Levee Road between Thomas Street (State Route 3) and N. Bellevue Blvd. will be CLOSED during construction.  Detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. Traffic has been moved to temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue. A detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-57:   Replacement of damaged drainage culverts along Poplar Ave. (State Route 57) between Kirby Parkway and Johnson Rd. in Germantown.  The contractor is working on Poplar Ave. (SR-57) between the intersections of Johnson Rd. and Poplar Pike.  Motorists should watch for lane shifts as work progresses.  At least one lane of traffic will remain open at all times.  In the event of inclement weather, start of work on this crossing will be delayed until Friday October 18.

SHELBY COUNTY, -Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits to Stout Road. Flagmen will be utilized during these closures to ensure safety from oncoming traffic and falling tree limbs.  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, -Resurfacing on SR-385 beginning at SR-175 (Byhalia Road) overhead bridge LM-12.51 and extending to west of the bridge over US-72 (SR-86) LM-14.36

Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23:  State Route 385 will be down to one lane in each direction at the bridge over State Route 175 (Byhalia Rd.).  The contractor will be performing milling and paving operations.  One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction.

SHELBY and FAYETTE COUNTY, SR 385:  Construction on State Route 385 from State Route 57 Poplar Ave. in Piperton to State Route 193 Macon Rd. in Fisherville. Trucks may be entering the highway in the area of State Route 193 (Macon Road) and State Route 385 intersection. 

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail:   Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail.

  • I-40, Benton/Decatur Counties, eastbound & westbound (MM 121.0 to MM 130.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Carroll/Henderson Counties, eastbound & westbound (MM 100.0 to MM 119.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Madison County, eastbound & westbound (MM 93.0 to MM 94.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (MM 10.0 to MM 11.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, Shelby County, southbound & northbound (MM 25.0 to MM 30.0), one lane will remain open.  Also, this will include a temporary ramp closure at I-240 southbound “On” ramp at South Parkway.
  • I-240, Shelby County, northbound (MM 13.0 to MM 14.0), one lane will remain open.

SR-186/45 BYP, Madison County northbound & southbound lanes between Old Hickory Blvd and Airways Blvd., one lane will remain open.  Work will consist of sawing and concrete repairs.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:  Wednesday October 16 through Wednesday October 23, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-384:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge. A temporary signal is being used with the northbound lane CLOSED.  There is one 11’ lane on bridge.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-89:  Temporary lane closures each day for the installation of a flashing beacon at the intersection of State Route 239 in Dresden.  Flagmen will be present.
