Middle Tennessee Construction

January 31st- February 6th, 2013

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • Sunday February 3, 7AM-1PM, The right lane of I-440 will be closed in order to shift traffic on the Nolensville Rd. eastbound on ramps.  There will be intermittent lane closures required on the ramps.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends),  There will be shoulder closures on I-24 West bound to pressure wash river pier and apply texture coating and possibly start de-rigging operation.
  • Saturday February 2 through Sunday February 3, 6AM-6PM,  There will be shoulder closures on I-24 West bound to pressure wash river pier and apply texture coating and possibly start de-rigging operation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Rd. over Browns Creek

  • Friday February 1, 9AM-3PM or Saturday February 2, 7AM-7PM, There will be one lane of Lebanon Rd. closed in order to pour bridge deck.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Road

  • Saturday February 2, 8AM-1PM, The two right lanes of I-65 northbound will be closed in order to pave and stripe the roadway. There will also be a lane closures on I-65 southbound in order to patch potholes.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 9AM-3PM, The inside lane of I-65 northbound and southbound will be closed in order to texture coat median barrier rail.  Three lanes will remain open in each direction.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • Friday February 1, 8PM-6AM, and Saturday February 2, 7AM-7PM, and Monday February 4 through Wednesday February 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-65 (exit 37) northbound and southbound for bridge construction overhead on SR 50.
  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to set bridge beams and patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

 

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open   
  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  

Cheatham County

  • Thursday January 31 through Wednesday February 6, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 189.5 and mile marker 191.5 in order to patch potholes in the concrete bridge deck.  One lane will remain open.  

 

TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County

  • Thursday January 31, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on State Route 45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) eastbound on the bridge over the Cumberland River for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open.  

TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Wednesday March 6, 7PM-6AM, On SR -1 West End Ave. at 25th Ave. in Davidson County. This request by Metro Water Services for an 18” and 8” water main installation.
  • Sunday February 3 through Thursday February 7, 7PM-6AM, At the intersection of Hillsboro Road, Hobbs Road and Overhill Drive. This Request by Piedmont Gas to replace 4 existing valves and 75’ of gas main located in the Intersection.

TDOT Materials and Tests

  • Monday February 4, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on I-65 northbound in Giles County from south of Baugh Rd. to south of SR 273 in order to take cores from the roadway.  One lane will remain open.
  • Tuesday February 5, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 11 from 2nd Ave. to I-40 in Davidson County in order to take cores from the roadway.  One lane will remain open.
  • Tuesday February 5, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 441 from SR 6 (US 31) to near I-65 in Williamson County in order to take cores from the roadway.  One lane will remain open.
  • Wednesday February 6, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on LBL Route 206 in Land Between the Lakes State Park from Fort Henry Rd. to Rushing Creek Rd. (LBL Route 172) in Stewart County in order to take cores from the roadway.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday February 7, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 99 from SR 20 to west of Indian Creek Rd. in Lewis County in order to take cores from the roadway.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday February 7, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 48 from SR 20 (US 412) to the Hickman County line in Lewis County in order to take cores from the roadway.  One lane will remain open.
