DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 in order to power wash the river piers and apply texture coating.
  • Saturday January 5, 5AM through Monday January 7, 5AM, I-40 WB will be closed at the I-40WB/I-24EB Split in order to repair a beam damaged by an oversize load.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9PM-5AM, (excluding weekends),There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd. to perform shoulder work (outside and inside shoulders). There will be no more than one lane closed at any time.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Monday January 7 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to texture coat median barrier rail. Three lanes will remain open in each direction.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures to patch potholes on as needed basis on I-24 in Rutherford and Bedford Co., I-65 in Williamson Co. and SR 840 in Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson Counties.
  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures to repair guardrail on an as needed basis on I-24 in Rutherford and Bedford Col., I-65 in Williamson Co., and SR 840 in Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson Counties.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • Thursday January 3 through Friday January 4, 8PM-6AM and Saturday January 5, 7AM-5PM and Monday January 7 through Wednesday January 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-65 (exit 37) northbound and southbound for bridge construction overhead on SR 50.
  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday January 3 through Tuesday January 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to prepare for a traffic shift. One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & DICKSON COUNTIES, TDOT SmartWay ITS I-40/SR 840

  • Thursday January 3 through Monday January 7, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound at MM 170.6 in order to install cable barrier rail anchor.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.
  • Saturday January 5, 8PM through Monday January 7, 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete for seal footer for pier 7.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-1AM, There will be various shoulder closures for rock removal on all interstates. All lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing. One lane will remain open.
  • Wednesday January 9, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound at Trinity Lane Bridge for deck repair. Two lanes will remain open.

Robertson County

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) in both directions between mile markers 21, 22, 23 and 24 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 76 in both directions between mile marker 2.5 and mile marker 3.5 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Cheatham County

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 249 in both directions between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.5 in order to pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Montgomery County

  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) in both directions between mile markers 2.0 and 3.0 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 12 in both directions between mile markers 10.9 and 12.2 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

TDOT Traffic

City of Franklin

  • Thursday, January 3 through Wednesday January 9, 9AM-3PM, Traffic signal installation at US 431 and SR 248. Contractor to temporarily close the outside turn lanes of this intersection to install mast arm signal. Only (1) lane will be shut down at a time. Contractor will provide arrow board and appropriate traffic control devices during temporary lane closure.
