DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Avenue for fence installation.
  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be shoulder closures on I-24 westbound to pressure wash river pier and apply texture coating and possibly start de-rigging operation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440.

  • Saturday January 19 through Sunday January 20, 6AM-6PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-440 in order to repair damaged lighting.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Road over Browns Creek.

  • Thursday January 17 through Friday January 18, 7PM-5AM, There will be two lanes closed on Lebanon Road in order to set bridge beams. One lane will remain open with flaggers and officers being utilized for traffic control.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Road

  • Saturday January 19, 10AM-3PM, The right lane of I-65 southbound at Dickerson Rd. will be closed to shift the portable barrier rail for better traffic flow.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Two Bridges on I-24 over Main Street and Woodland Street

  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 9PM-5AM, There will be a single right lane closure on I-24 eastbound from MM 48.0 to MM 50.0 in order to perform bridge sign placement. Two lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Maintenance on the Nashville ITS System

  • Thursday January 17 through Tuesday January 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-65 southbound between MM 84-85 (Rosa Parks Blvd. area) in order to install conduit.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to texture coat median barrier rail and crack repair. Three lanes will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 South of SR 96 to SR 6 Middle Tennessee

  • Friday January 18, 8PM through Monday January 21, 6AM, Cool Springs Blvd. eastbound will be closed to traffic from Mack Hatcher Parkway to Windcross Court in order to install water line and to recover boring equipment. Detours will be in place utilizing Liberty Pike and Franklin Road.
  • Monday January 21 through Wednesday January 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Cool Springs Blvd. in order to complete previous weekend work of installing water line and recovering bore equipment.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures to patch potholes on as needed basis on I-24 in Rutherford and Bedford Co., I-65 in Williamson Co. and SR 840 in Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson Counties.
  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures to repair guardrail on an as needed basis on I-24 in Rutherford and Bedford Col., I-65 in Williamson Co., and SR 840 in Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson Counties.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday January 17 through Tuesday January 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch potholes. One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & DICKSON COUNTIES, TDOT SmartWay ITS I-40/SR 840

  • Thursday January 17 through Tuesday January 22, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound at MM 170.6 in order to install cable barrier rail anchor.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.
  • Saturday January 19, 8PM through Monday January 21, 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete for seal footer for pier 7.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on SR 12 over Sycamore Creek

  • Thursday January 17 and Friday January 18, 9AM-3PM, The road will be closed for approximately 10 minutes at a time in order to unload and set bridge beams. Flaggers will be utilized.

  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures for rock removal on all interstates. All lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing. One lane will remain open.
  • Tuesday January 22 and Wednesday January 23, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound at Trinity Lane Bridge for deck repair. Two lanes will remain open.

Cheatham County

  • Thursday January 17 through Wednesday January 23, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound between MM 189.5 and MM 191.5 in order to patch potholes in the concrete bridge deck. One lane will remain open.

TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County

  • Thursday January 17 and Friday January 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) in both directions on the bridge over the Cumberland River. One lane will remain open.

TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Thursday January 31, 7PM-6AM, On SR 106 at the intersection of Hillsboro Road, Hobbs Rd and Overhill Dr. This request by Piedmont Gas to replace 4 existing valves and 75’ of gas main located in the intersection.
  • Sunday January 20, 7AM-11AM, On I-24 south of Sam Ridley Parkway (Exit 66) in Rutherford County. This request by M.T.E.M.C. for removing existing conductors over I-24 with Rutherford County Sheriff’s Dept. conducting rolling road blocks.

Local Programs

  • From now through Friday January 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 northbound and southbound (Vietnam Veterans Pkwy.) in order to install overhang jacks and false work.
