Tennessee First Lady Crissy Haslam Welcomes Health & Medical Leaders
NASHVILLE – Tennessee First Lady Crissy Haslam will join Health Commissioner John Dreyzehner, MD, MPH, and other state, regional and national health and medical professionals on Thursday, September 20 at the Statewide Infant Mortality Summit to discuss efforts planned or underway to address the health crisis of infant deaths in Tennessee.
Tennessee has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the United States with nearly eight out of every 1,000 babies born in Tennessee not living to see their first birthday.
