DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Murphy Rd. to perform joint repairs.
  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-440 eastbound under the West End Ave. Bridge for retaining wall work.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through November 2012, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-24 over Main St. and Woodland St.

  • Thursday June 21, Friday June 22 and Sunday June 24 through Wednesday June 27, 8PM–5AM, There will be a temporary lane closures on Main Street and Woodland Street, from South Fifth Street to Interstate Drive, to perform bridge repairs.  One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

·        Thursday June 21 and Monday June 25 through Wednesday June 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 155 (Briley Pkwy.) from Mashburn Rd. to Glaston Rd.

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Pkwy. in both directions in order to install rumble strips and permanent striping.

Resurfacing on I-40 from Dickson Co. Line to Williamson Co. Line to Cheatham Co. Line to Davidson Co. Line

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on I-40 in order to mill and pave.
  • Saturday June 23, 5AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound at the Harpeth River Bridge in order to seal and pave the bridges.

MIDDLE TENNESSEE, Pavement Sealing on Various Interstates

  • Thursday June 21, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in eastbound beginning in Davidson County at Haywood Lane to the Rutherford County line in order to perform joint work.
  • Friday June 22 through Sunday June 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 (MM 18-34) in both directions in Robertson and Cheatham counties in order to perform joint work.
  • Monday June 25 through Thursday June 28, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions beginning in Wilson County to Old Hickory Blvd. in order to perform joint work. Two lanes will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane and shoulder closures of SR 96 from Buckingham Circle to Jordan Lane for utility work.


DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements

Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.

  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 258 from SR 386 to New Hope Rd.

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 258 for installation of rumble strips.

WILSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Linwood Road over I-40

  • Thursday June 21 and Friday June 22, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for the removal of the existing bridge.


WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, 8PM- 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete or southbound for roadway construction.

GILES COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Alabama State Line to US 64

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 0.0 and MM 14.0 in order to mill, pave, and install guardrail.  One lane will remain open.

Resurfacing on I-24 from West of Baker Rd Bridge to West of SR 840

  • Sunday June 24, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 for cleanup.  Three lanes will remain open in each direction.

  • Thursday, June 21 through Wednesday, June 27, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

Cheatham County 

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 12 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 2 and mile marker 3.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 49 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 9 and mile marker 10.  One lane will remain open.  

Davidson County 

  • Thursday June 21 and Tuesday June 26 through Wednesday June 27, 9AM-3PM, and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, (excluding weekends), 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating right lane closures on I-65 in both directions between mile marker 94 and mile marker 90 for rock removal.  Three lanes will remain open. 

 Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys County 

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, (excluding weekends), 6PM-10PM, There will be alternating lane closures in various locations on I-40 in both directions in Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties to clean bridges and slope mow.  One lane will remain open.  

Montgomery & Robertson Counties 

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27, (excluding weekends), 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 18 and mile marker 12 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open.   


Robertson County 

  • Thursday June 21 through Wednesday June 27 , (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 65 (U.S. 431) in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0.1 and mile marker 1.1  and also between mile marker 6.5 to mile marker 7.5.  One lane will remain open.   

 

Sumner County

  • Thursday June 21, 9PM-5AM, The left lane will be closed on State Route 386 in both directions between mile marker 2.3 to mile marker 15.0 for cleaning bridges.  One lane will remain open.   

 

TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County 

  • Tuesday June 26, 8PM-3AM, The two inside lanes will be closed on I-40 westbound over Charlotte Avenue at mile marker 208.6 for bridge repair.  The right lane and on-ramp will remain open.   

Smith County 

  • Thursday June 21, 8PM-3AM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 westbound at mile marker 254 for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open.   

 
TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Wednesday August 1, 9AM-3PM, Along SR-24 Charlotte Pike from Hwy 70S. to 7670 Charlotte Pike in Davidson County. This request by Nashville Electric Service for replacement of 61 poles and 50 anchors.
  • Sunday June 24, 6AM-9AM, On SR-386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd.)  at Indian Lake Blvd Interchange in Summer County. This request by CEMC for pulling conductors over SR-386.Four rolling stops are expected. Four police cars will be present.
  • Sunday June 24, 5:30AM-11AM, On I-24 at the Florence Road overpass bridge in Rutherford County. This request by Murfreesboro Electric Dept. for pulling four conductors over I-24.Four rolling stop blocks are expected, police cars are expected.
