Section of Industrial Drive in Gibson County to Close Temporarily
Jackson, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews will close a portion of Industrial Drive off SR 76 (US 79) in Milan, Tennessee beginning May 29, 2012. The closure is necessary to complete construction of a new driveway to Milan High School. The work is part of a larger project to widen SR 76 (US 79) in Gibson County. Construction of the new driveway is expected to take three to four weeks. During the closure, Industrial Drive will be accessible from SR 104.
Motorists are asked to plan ahead and seek alternate routes around the closure. Portable message boards will be placed throughout the area to assist motorists.
