BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 73/US 321 at Log Mile 24.2 and 25.3:Motorists should be alert for a lane closure which has the roadway reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal through this rockfall mitigation project. BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 73/US 321 at Foothills Mall Drive: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this intersection improvement project. Motorists should be alert for new lane shifts on Foothills Mall Drive near the intersection with US 321.
CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 South entering Tennessee near Exit 160 (Jellico): I-75 South is currently closed at Mile Marker 160 in Tennessee due to a landslide near Mile Marker 143. Southbound motorists are being detoured off the interstate at Exit 160 in Jellico onto US 25 W to LaFollette and back onto I-75 South at Exit 134 in Caryville. Truck traffic at Exit 160 should turn right and follow SR 297 West to SR 63 and back onto I-75 South at Exit 141. Due to the geographical terrain of this route, motorists are advised to use extreme caution. Wide loads should take Exit 62 in Kentucky and follow US 25 to SR 461 to SR 80 to SR 914 to US 27 into Tennessee and follow SR 63 back to I-75 at Exit 141. Motorists should expect potential long delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid this area.
CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North between Mile Markers 141 and 144: I-75 North is currently reduced to one lane at Mile Marker 141 around a landslide near Mile Marker 143. Motorists should expect delays in this area during peak travel periods and use extreme caution in this area.
CARTER COUNTY, US 321 (SR 159) over Elk River at Log Mile 7.23: US 321/State Route 159 is closed to thru traffic and detoured around this bridge replacement project. Motorists should follow signed detour route and adjust travel times accordingly.
COCKE COUNTY, I-40 West near the North Carolina/Tennessee State Line: I-40 West is reduced to one lane near Mile Marker 451 through this rockslide repair project. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.
COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Mile Marker 435: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures at various times in this area as crews perform overhead bridge repairs at Exit 435. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
COCKE COUNTY, US 321/SR 32 over I-40 at Exit 435: US 321/SR 32 over I-40 is reduced to one lane in each direction through this bridge repair project. COCKE COUNTY, US 25/70/SR 9 Bridge over the French Broad River at Log Mile 21.6: The historic Wolf Creek Bridge on US 25/70/SR 9 over the French Broad River is closed to thru traffic as crews perform work on this bridge rehabilitation project. The bridge will be closed thru March of 2014. Separate signed detours will be in place for passenger and commercial vehicles. HAWKINS COUNTY, Main Street over Southern Railroad in Bulls Gap: A section of Main Street is closed to thru traffic and detoured around this bridge replacement project. Motorists should follow signed detour route and adjust travel times accordingly.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-40 and I-81 Interchange: Motorists on I-40 East should be alert for a lane closure near mile marker 421 that will be in place around the clock through this interchange improvement project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
JOHNSON COUNTY, SR 67 over Doe Creek at Log Mile 5.61: State Route 67 has been reopened to two lanes through this bridge repair project. Motorists should remain alert for construction activity, workers present and use caution traveling through this area.
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 Eastbound Exit Ramp to Campbell Station Road (Exit 373): On Tuesday night, May 15, 2012, the eastbound exit ramp to Campbell Station Road (Exit 373) will be closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cleanup activities from a recent accident. Motorists should use Lovell Road (Exit 374) to Kingston Pike back to Campbell Station Road during this time.
KNOX COUNTY, I-275 approaching Heiskell Avenue: Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks at various times during daylight hours as crews perform blasting in this area. Motorists should be alert for sudden stops, reduced speeds, expect delays and use extreme caution in this area.
KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East near Northshore Drive (Exit 5): On Monday, May 14, 2012 and Tuesday, May 15, 2012, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crew perform ramp work at this location. Beginning after 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 15, 2012, motorists should be alert for a new traffic pattern using the eastbound exit ramp to Northshore Drive. The new location of the exit ramp to Northshore Drive, which has been relocated approximately ½ mile west of the existing ramp, will be opened. Motorists should be alert for reduced speeds, lane shifts and narrowed lanes on this ramp as construction continues on this project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.
KNOX COUNTY, I-140 West exit and entrance ramps at Northshore Drive (Exit 5): Motorists should be alert for narrowed ramp lanes, workers present and use extreme caution through this ramp improvement project.
KNOX COUNTY, SR 1 Kingston Pike at Everett Road: Motorists on Kingston Pike near Everett Road should be alert for lane closures in both directions through this bridge widening project. Everett Road between the Kingston Pike intersection and Saint Andrews Drive is closed to thru traffic for most of the duration of the project. Everett Road motorists are advised to use other routessuch as Hobbs Road/Union Road and Smith Road to enter and exit this portion of Everett Road. KNOX COUNTY, US 11W/SR 1 Rutledge Pike between Three Points Rd. and Mine Road: Motorists should be alert for daily lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.
KNOX COUNTY, SR 62 (Oak Ridge Hwy. /Western Ave.) between Schaad Road and Copper Kettle Road: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times throughout this widening project. Motorists traveling in this area should be alert for workers and equipment present and be alert for changing traffic conditions, detours, traffic shifts and use caution through this area. South Hinton Road between Western Avenue and Third Creek Road; Jimmy Carter Road at Western Avenue; and Beaver Ridge Road at Western Avenue are closed for construction. A short section of Ball Camp Pike between Western Avenue and Goldenrod Street is closed for construction. Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and follow signed detour routes.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 158 Neyland Drive approaching the Henley Bridge: Neyland Drive is reduced to one lane in each direction and shifted to the eastbound side as work continues on the overhead Henley Bridge. These closures will remain in place around the clock until August 2012. Access to Neyland Drive from Locust Street will be restricted during this time. UNION COUNTY, Existing SR 33 Bridge over Clinch River (Norris Lake) Weight Restrictions: The existing State Route 33 Bridge over Norris Lake is posted with weight limit restrictions and is being strictly enforced. Weight restrictions are: 5 axle vehicles are 35 tons; 3 or 4 axle vehicle is 22 tons; 2 axle vehicles are 20 tons. VEHICLES WEIGHING IN EXCESS OF THE RESTRICTED WEIGHTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CROSS THE BRIDGE AND MUST FOLLOW A DETOUR ROUTE. Motorists should use extreme caution and be prepared to stop approaching the bridge.
