TWRA Continuing to Solicit Public Input on Cummings Cove WMA Management

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) is continuing to solicit public input on the management of Cummings Cove Wildlife Management Area (WMA), located on Aetna Mountain.
 
Cummings Cove is a 1,200 acre WMA located in Hamilton and Marion counties. The public can send its comments on the subject by clicking here with Cummings Cove comments on the subject line of emailed submissions. Comments also can be mailed to OHV TWRA Region III, 464 Industrial Blvd., Crossville, TN 38555. The deadline for submitting comments is May 15, 2012.
 
Cummings Cove WMA was purchased with federal funds from the Forestry Legacy Program administered by the U.S. Forest Service and filtered through the Tennessee Division of Forestry. The area became under the control of the TWRA as a wildlife management area in 2006 when the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency proclaimed the area as Cummings Cove WMA.
