TDOT to Celebrate Completion of State Route 62 Project in Morgan County

Knoxville, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner John Schroer will join Senator Ken Yager, Representative John Mark Windle, and other state and local officials in Morgan County on Friday, February 24, 2012 to celebrate the recent completion of the State Route 62 widening project.
 
The $27 million project widened a five mile section of State Route 62 from two lanes to five lanes. The project has increased capacity safety along the route, and improved access to the City of Wartburg.
 
Friday’s event will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church. The event will last approximately 20 minutes.
