DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be random shoulder closures throughout the project for sidewalk sealing operations.
  • Thursday November 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane shifts on Nolensville Rd. for bridge deck overlay.
  • Friday November 9, 8PM through Monday November 12, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on West End Ave. and on the ramp from West End Ave. to I-440 west for bridge deck overlay.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on Gallatin Rd. northbound just north of the RR Bridge in order to install storm pipe.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 in both directions for fence installation.
  • Saturday November 10 and Sunday November 11, 6AM-6:30PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 eastbound for painting operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70S from West of I-40 (LM 5.2) to SR 100 (LM 10.9)

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures for installation of guardrail on US 70S.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd. to perform outside shoulder work. There will be no more than one lane closed at any time.
  • Friday November 9, 9PM through Monday November 12, 5AM, There will be inside lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound from Dickerson Rd to Trinity Lane to perform work on the inside shoulders. There will be no more than one lane closed at any time.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday) there will be one lane of I-65 northbound from MM 62.5 to MM 66.0 closed for pavement markings and signs.
  • Saturday November 10, 7AM-12 Noon, The two right lanes of I-65 northbound from the SR 96 on ramp to the end of the project will be closed in order to install an overhead sign. Four lanes will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures at the intersection of SR 397 and SR 96 and Liberty Pike in order to install and adjust traffic signals.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 431 (Hillsboro Rd.) from North of Fulton Greer Lane to Beech Creek Bridge

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hillsboro Rd. from Berry’s Chapel Rd. to Beech Creek Bridge in order to perform bridge deck repairs, install pavement markings and bike lane signs.
  • Friday November 9, 9PM through Monday November 12, 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hillsboro Rd. in order to repair handicap ramps.

DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements

Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.

  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.
  • Saturday November 10, 5AM-6PM, There will alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to pour the bridge deck on SR 50.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for median sign footing excavation. One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 in order to pour concrete or set barrier rail.

WILSON & DICKSON COUNTIES, TDOT Smartway ITS I-40/SR 840

  • Thursday November 8 through Wednesday November 14, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound at MM 170.6 (Dickson Co.) and on I-40 westbound at MM 240.8 (Wilson County) in order to install guardrail and cameras.

Re-lensing of Snowplowable Markers

  • Thursday November 8 through Monday November 12, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be a rolling lane closure on I-65 in both directions from MM 53.0 to MM 74.0 in order to re-lens snowplowable markers.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, There will be various shoulder closures for rock removal on all interstates. All lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes in both directions for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

Robertson County

  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) in both directions between mile marker 21 and mile marker 22 also mile marker 23 and mile marker 24 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 76 in both directions between mile marker 2.5 and mile marker 3.5 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Cheatham County

  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 49 in both directions between mile marker 0 (Cheatham County and Dickson County line) and mile marker 1.0 also between mile marker 3 and mile marker 4 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 249 in both directions between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.5 in order to pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Montgomery County

  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) in both directions between mile marker 2.0 and mile marker 3.0 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 12 in both directions between mile marker 10.9 and mile marker 12.2 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties

  • Thursday November 8, Friday November 9 and Tuesday November 13 through Wednesday November 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 14 mile marker to the 32 mile marker for chemical control of vegetation. This will be a moving operation.

TDOT Maintenance

  • Tuesday November 13 through Friday November 16, 8PM-2AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 in both directions on the following bridges for bridge deck surveys. One lane will remain open.

  • Tuesday November 13 through Friday November 16, 8PM-2AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions on the following bridge deck surveys. One lane will remain open.

TDOT Utilities

  • Thursday November 8, 7PM-6AM, On SR 258 on New Shackle Island Road from Volunteer Dr. to Iris Dr. in Sumner County. This request by Hendersonville U.D. replacing cold-mix with binder and one road bore.
  • Sunday November 11, 6AM-6PM, On I-40 at the Old Hickory Boulevard interchange in (Hermitage) in Davidson County. This request by N.E.S. to replace seven existing conductors damaged in a storm require seven stop blocks, 11 Metro Police cars and Flag Pros.
