Governor Haslam and TDOT Commissioner Schroer to Celebrate Completion of State Route 840 on Friday, November 2
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Commissioner John Schroer will celebrate the completion of State Route 840 on November 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will be held on the newly completed section of SR 840 near the Carter’s Creek Pike interchange in Williamson County.
SR 840 will officially open to traffic at 6:00 p.m.

Important Note: Attendees must enter SR 840 from Interstate 65 or US 31 (Columbia Pike) in Franklin and travel westbound to the event location. Parking will be provided on the westbound lanes near Carter’s Creek Pike. Attendants will be on site to direct traffic.
For media only: Microwave or satellite trucks will be staged on the eastbound travel lanes near Carter’s Creek Pike and must enter from I-40 in Dickson or the SR 46 (Pinewood Road) interchange near Leiper’s Fork, TN.
