Tennessee Department of Revenue Announces Promotions

Nashville, Tenn. - The Tennessee Department of Revenue announces promotions to fill two key leadership positions.

Anthony Starnes has been promoted to Director of the Information Technology Resources Division.  Previously, Anthony served as Assistant Director for the division and has 22 years of service with the Department of Revenue.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University.

Sonya Meacham has been promoted to Assistant Director of Office Operations for Revenue's Audit Division.  She was previously a Tax Audit Manager.  Ms. Meacham has served with the department and the state for 26 years and has held positions at every level of tax auditor, supervisor and manager.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a major in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.
