DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440

  • Thursday October 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on Murphy Road for grinding of the bridge deck.
  • Friday October 19, 9AM-8PM, There will be shoulder closures on Murphy Road and on the ramp from West End Ave. to I-440 west for grinding of the bridge deck.
  • Friday October 19, 8PM to Monday October 22, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Murphy Road and on the ramp from West End Ave. to I-440 west for bridge deck overlay.
  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Nolensville Road for joint repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 in both directions for fence installation.
  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.
  • Saturday October 20 and Sunday October 21, 6AM-6:30PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 for painting operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70S from West of I-40 (LM 5.2) to SR 100 (LM 10.9)

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures for striping, handicap ramps and guardrail on US 70S.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 45 (OHB) from US 431 (SR 65) to US 31W/41 (SR 11)

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd. in order to install shoulder stone.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Rd. over Browns Creek

  • Wednesday October 24 and Thursday October 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be one east bound lane of Lebanon Pike closed to pour bridge deck. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-24 over Main St. and over Woodland St.

  • Thursday October 18 and Friday October 19, 9PM-5AM, Two lanes of I-24 eastbound and westbound will be temporarily closed in order to perform joint repair. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Re-lensing of Snowplowable Markers

  • Thursday October 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be a rolling lane closure on I-440 from LM 0.00 to LM 7.66 in order to re-lens snowplowable markers.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be one lane of I-65 northbound from MM 62.5 to MM 66.0 closed for milling and paving operations.
  • Sunday October 21 through Wednesday October 24, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 southbound from MM 65 to MM 66 to switch traffic onto the new off ramp and on ramp at SR 96.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures at the intersection of SR 397 and SR 96 and Franklin Rd. in order to perform traffic control work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 431 (Hillsboro Rd.) from North of Fulton Greer Lane to Beech Creek Bridge

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hillsboro Rd. from Fulton Greer Rd. to Berry’s Chapel Rd. in order to adjust castings, mill the roadway, repair the guardrail and install loop wire.
  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hillsboro Rd. from Berry’s Chapel Rd. to Beech Creek Bridge in order to adjust castings, mill the roadway, repair guardrail and install loop wire.

DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements

Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.

  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for grading operations and median sign footings. One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 171 from US 41 to the County Line

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-5AM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures on SR 171 from LM 2.20 through LM 8.77 in order to install guardrail and perform microsurfacing.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • From now through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-2:30PM, Traffic will be stopped for 15 minutes or less in order to unload and set concrete bridge beams periodically throughout the day.
  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 8PM-6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete or southbound for roadway construction.

WILSON & DICKSON COUNTIES, TDOT Smartway ITS I-40/SR 840

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound at MM 170.6 (Dickson Co.) and on I-40 westbound at MM 240.8 (Wilson County) in order to unload DMS sign supports.
  • Monday October 22 and Tuesday October 23, 9PM-5AM, There will be rolling road blocks (not to exceed 30 minutes) on I-40 eastbound at MM 170.6 (Dickson Co.) and on I-40 westbound at MM 240.8 (Wilson Co.) in order to set DMS sign supports and signs.

Thursday, October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends) There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 14 mile marker to the 32 mile marker for chemical control of vegetation. This will be a moving operation.  

Davidson County

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates. All lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 18 and Tuesday October 23, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 155 (Briley Pkwy.) in both directions between mile marker 10 and mile marker 12 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

Houston County

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, (excluding weekends),9AM-3PM, there will be temporary lane closures for paving over replaced culverts at the following locations:
  • State Route 46 @ 5.5 Mile Marker to 6.5 Mile Marker
  • State Route 147 @ 4.0 to 5.0 Mile Marker

Robertson County

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) in both directions between mile marker 21 and mile marker 22 also mile marker 23 and mile marker 24 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 76 in both directions between mile marker 2.5 and mile marker 3.5 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Cheatham County

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 49 in both directions between mile marker 0 (Cheatham County and Dickson County line) and mile marker 1.0 also between mile marker 3 and mile marker 4 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 249 in both directions between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.5 in order to pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Montgomery County

  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) in both directions between mile marker 2.0 and mile marker 3.0 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 18 through Wednesday October 24, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 12 in both directions between mile marker 10.9 and mile marker 12.2 in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Humphreys County

  • Thursday October 18, 6PM-3AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions between mile marker 139.0 and mile marker 149.0 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County

  • Thursday October 18, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed periodically in each direction for the Region 3 Inspection crew to inspect the Silliman Evans Bridge over the Cumberland River. One lane will remain open on the ramps. Three lanes will remain open on the bridge.

Cheatham County

  • Thursday October 18, 9AM-12PM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 189 for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open.

TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Thursday October 25, 7PM-6AM, On SR 258 on New Shackle Island Road from Volunteer Dr. to Iris Dr. in Sumner County. This request by Hendersonville U.D. to open-cut into the roadway for the installation of approx.. 3800’ of 16” water main. Proper lane closure signs and detours will be setup.
  • From now through Thursday October 25, 7PM-6AM, On SR 155 White Bridge Rd 385 south of Charlotte Pike in Davidson Co. this request by Piedmont Gas to repair a corroded gas main in the first lane of traffic on the west side.

Franklin Park Office Development on I-65

  • Friday October 19, 2PM-2:15PM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-65 Northbound and Southbound at the McEwen Dr. exit between Moore’s Lane and SR 96 for blasting.
