DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on West End Ave. over I-440 in order to work on expansion joints.
  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Nolensville Rd. for joint repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 in both directions for fence installation.
  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.
  • Friday October 12, 8PM through Monday October 15, 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.
  • Friday October 12, 8PM through Monday October 15, 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 for painting operations.
  • Friday October 12, 8PM through Monday October 15, 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 for painting operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70S from West of I-40 (LM 5.2) to SR 100 (LM 10.9)

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures for striping, handicap ramps and guardrail on US 70S.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 45 (OHB) from US 431 (SR 65) to US 31W/41 (SR 11)

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd. in order to install guardrail.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday), The right lane of I-65 northbound from MM 62.5 to MM 66.0 and one lane of the NE ramp from SR 96 to I-65 northbound will be closed for milling and paving operations.
  • Thursday October 11, 8PM-9:30PM, The right lane of I-65 southbound from MM 62.5 to MM 63.0 will be closed in order to remove barrier rail.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures at the intersection of SR 397 and SR 96 and Franklin Rd. in order to perform traffic control work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 431 (Hillsboro Rd.) from North of Fulton Greer Lane to Beech Creek Bridge

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hillsboro Rd. from Fulton Greer Rd. to Berry’s Chapel Rd. in order to adjust castings, mill the roadway, repair the guardrail and install loop wire.
  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hillsboro Rd. from Berry’s Chapel Rd. to Beech Creek Bridge in order to adjust castings, mill the roadway, repair guardrail and install loop wire.

DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements

Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.

  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to excavate and pour median sign footings. One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 171 from US 41 to the County Line

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-5AM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures on SR 171 from LM 2.20 through LM 8.77 in order to install guardrail and perform microsurfacing.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Resurfacing from East of SR 840 to East of SR 26

  • Tuesday October 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to sweep recently milled inside lane and shoulder.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • From now through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-2:30PM, Traffic will be stopped for 15 minutes or less in order to unload and set concrete bridge beams periodically throughout the day.
  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 8PM-6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete or southbound for roadway construction.

WILSON & DICKSON COUNTIES, TDOT Smartway ITS I-40/SR 840

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound at MM 170.6 (Dickson Co.) and on I-40 westbound at MM 240.8 (Wilson County) in order to unload DMS sign supports.

DICKSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair I-40 over Nails Creek (MM 177.8) and Turnbull Creek (MM 179.9)

  • Saturday October 13, 8AM through Sunday October 14, 8PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound to install rumble strips.

  • Thursday, October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends) There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 14 mile marker to the 32 mile for chemical control of vegetation. This will be a moving operation.  

Davidson County

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates. All lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 11, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures at the intersection of 31 E (Gallatin Road) and Conference Drive for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

Smith County

  • Thursday October 11, 7PM-3AM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 westbound at mile marker 225 for bridge repair. One lane will remain open.

Houston County

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, (excluding weekends),9AM-3PM, there will be temporary lane closures for paving over replaced culverts at the following locations:
  • State Route 46 @ 5.5 Mile Marker to 6.5 Mile Marker
  • State Route 147 @ 4.0 to 5.0 Mile Marker

 Robertson County

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 65 (U.S. 431) in both directions in order to pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 6.0 and mile marker 7.5 and on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) there will be alternating lane closures in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 21 and mile marker 22 also mile marker 23 and mile marker 24 in both directions. One lane will remain open.

Cheatham County

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 49 in both directions in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 (Cheatham County and Dickson County line) and mile marker 1.0 also between mile marker 3 and mile marker 4. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 249 in both directions in order to pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.5. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 11  through Wednesday October 17, (excluding weekends) 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 in both directions between mile marker 186 and mile marker 192 in order to patch potholes in the concrete bridge decks. One lane will remain open.

Montgomery County

  • Thursday October 11 through Wednesday October 17, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 2.0 and mile marker 3.0. One lane will remain open.

Humphreys County

  • Tuesday October 16 and Thursday October 18, 6PM-3AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40  in both directions between mile marker 139.0 and mile marker 149.0 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County

  • Tuesday October 16, Wednesday October 17 and Thursday October 18, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed periodically in each direction for the Region 3 Inspection crew to inspect the Silliman Evans Bridge over the Cumberland River. One lane will remain open on the ramps. Three lanes will remain open on the bridge.

TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Thursday October 25, 7PM-6AM, On SR 258 on New Shackle Island Road from Volunteer Dr. to Iris Dr. in Sumner County. This request by Hendersonville U.D. to open-cut into the roadway for the installation of approx.. 3800’ of 16” water main. Proper lane closure signs and detours will be setup.
  • From now through Thursday October 11, 7PM-6AM, On SR 155 White Bridge Rd 385 south of Charlotte Pike in Davidson Co. this request by Piedmont Gas to repair a corroded gas main in the first lane of traffic on the west side.
  • Sunday October 14 through Thursday October 18, 7PM-6AM, On SR 24 and SR 155 near the interchange of Charlotte Pike and White Bridge road in Davidson County. This request by Piedmont gas to repair a two corroded gas mains.

Franklin Park Office Development on I-65

  • Monday October 15, Wednesday October 17 and Friday October 19, 2PM-2:15PM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-65 Northbound and Southbound at the McEwen Dr. exit between Moore’s Lane and SR 96 for blasting.
