ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South near Mile Marker 119: On Tuesday, October 16, 2012, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution approaching this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, I-140 East near Mile Marker 10.2: On Wednesday, October 17, 2012, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution approaching this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129/SR 115 South at Hunt Road: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform work at this intersection improvement project.  Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, US 25/70/SR 9 Bridge over the French Broad River at Log Mile 21.6: The historic Wolf Creek Bridge on US 25/70/SR 9 over the French Broad River is closed to thru traffic as crews perform work on this bridge rehabilitation project. The bridge will be closed thru March of 2014. Separate signed detours will be in place for passenger and commercial vehicles.  Motorists should adjust travel times accordingly and use caution through this area. HAMBLEN COUNTY, I-81 North and South near Exit 8:  Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and rolling roadblocks approaching this area between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. as crews perform overhead bridge work in this area. Motorists should be alert for slow moving traffic and use extreme caution approaching this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 32/US 25E near I-81 Interchange: Motorists should be alert for new traffic patterns through this project.  US 25E is reduced to one lane in each direction approaching the bridge over I-81 and new traffic shifts are in place as the northbound traffic has been shifted over to the southbound side as crews perform bridge work in this area. Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and flag persons directing traffic at various times through this project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 32/US 25E near College Park Drive: Motorists should be alert for new traffic patterns and lane shifts through this project. Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures at various times through this project.  Short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur daily through this project for utility and equipment crossings.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 160 at Log Miles 7.95, 9.56 and 14.53:  SR 160 northbound is reduced from two lanes to one around the clock as crews perform bridge repairs through this area. These closures are estimated to remain in place through November 2012.  Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution through this area.

HAWKINS COUNTY, SR 113 between SR 344 and SR 66:   Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures with flag persons directing traffic during daylight hours through this safety improvement project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

HAWKINS COUNTY, SR 1/ US 11W over Hoard Creek at Log Mile 33.2:  Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures, workers present and use extreme caution through this drainage structure repair project.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-40 and I-81 Interchange: Motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closures in this area between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this project. Motorists on I-81 South should be alert for lane shifts and a shoulder closure at the junction with I-40 at this interchange improvement project. The speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH in this work zone.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and Asheville Highway (Exit 394): Motorists should be alert for a left lane closure through this drainage improvement project. I-40 East is reduced from three lanes to two around the clock in this area through October 18, 2012.  Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 West exit and entrance ramps at Northshore Drive (Exit 5): Motorists should be alert for narrowed ramp lanes, workers present and use extreme caution through this ramp improvement project.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 33/Broadway entrance Ramp to I-640 West: On Sunday, October 14, 2012, the entrance ramp to I-640 West from Broadway will be closed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.as crews perform roadway repairs.  Motorists should follow an alternate route during this time.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 1 Kingston Pike at Everett Road: Motorists on Kingston Pike near Everett Road should be alert for lane closures in both directions through this bridge widening project. Everett Road between the Kingston Pike intersection and Saint Andrews Drive is closed to thru traffic for most of the duration of the project. Everett Road motorists are advised to use other routes such as Hobbs Road/Union Road and Smith Road to enter and exit this portion of Everett Road.    Motorists should be alert for changed conditions, workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 62 (Oak Ridge Hwy. /Western Ave.) between Schaad Road and Copper Kettle Road: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times throughout this widening project.  Motorists traveling in this area should be alert for workers and equipment present and be alert for changing traffic conditions, detours, traffic shifts and use caution through this area. South Hinton Road between Western Avenue and Third Creek Road; Jimmy Carter Road at Western Avenue; John May Road at Western Avenue; and Beaver Ridge Road at Western Avenue are closed for construction.  A short section of Ball Camp Pike between Western Avenue and Goldenrod Street is closed for construction.  Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and follow signed detour routes.

KNOX COUNTY, US 441/SR 33 Henley Bridge over Tennessee River in Downtown Knoxville: The Henley Bridge is closed to traffic for bridge rehabilitation.  Motorists should follow signed detour route using James White Parkway.  For updated project information, go to http://www.tdot.state.tn.us/henley/

KNOX COUNTY, SR 158 Neyland Drive Eastbound near Leinard Lane : Motorists should be alert for a lane shift through this area as KUB contractors perform utility work.  Motorists should be alert for changed traffic patterns; workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 131 Emory Road between Gill Road and Clinton Highway: Short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur at various times through this widening project for utility and equipment crossings.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, I-75 North and South near Mile Marker 72: On Tuesday, October 16, 2012, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures in this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform bridge inspections.  Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, US 321/SR 73 between SR 2 and City Park Drive: Motorists should be alert for changing conditions, workers present, construction equipment and use extreme caution through this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, SR 2 between Hattley Drive and Oak Street: Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning on Sunday nights through Thursday nights through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Mile Marker 352: On Wednesday, October 17, 2012, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures in this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform bridge inspections.  Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

ROANE COUNTY, SR 58 at SR 72:  Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures with flaggers present through this intersection improvement project. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

ROANE COUNTY, SR 1 /US 70 at Old Kingston Highway: Motorists should be alert for traffic shifts and new traffic patterns through this project.  Motorists should use extreme caution in this area.

ROANE COUNTY, SR 1 /US 27 over Shanty Branch near Poland Hollow Road: Motorists should be alert for traffic shifts and new traffic patterns through this bridge repair project.  Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

SCOTT COUNTY, SR 297 near Log Mile 13: On Wednesday, October 17, 2012 and Thursday, October 18, 2012, SR 297 will be closed to thru traffic near Log Mile 13 as crews perform a drainage structure replacement.  Motorists should follow signed detour route during this time and use extreme caution in this area.

SEVIER COUNTY, SR 66 in Sevierville between I-40 and SR 139 (Douglas Dam Rd.): Short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur daily Monday through Friday through this project for utility crossings. SEVIER COUNTY, SR 66 in Sevierville SR 139 (Douglas Dam Rd.) and SR 338 W (Boyd’s Creek Hwy.): Short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur daily Monday through Friday through this project for utility crossings. SEVIER COUNTY, Asbury Lane over LeConte Creek at Mynatt Park in Gatlinburg: Motorists should be alert for a lane closure with stop conditions through this bridge construction project. Intermittent short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur daily for equipment crossings.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 Northbound Ramp to SR 394 at Exit 69:  Beginning Friday, October 12, 2012, motorists should be alert for a lane width reduction on this ramp as crews begin this interchange improvement project.  Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-26 East and West near Mile Marker 6 (Welcome Center):  Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and brief rolling roadblocks between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily through this area. Motorists should be aware of shoulder closures, workers present, reduced speed limit and use caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 36 Bridge over CSX Railroad between I-81 and Wilmont Drive: Motorists should be alert for lane closures, lane shifts and use extreme caution through this area.  Motorists should expect potential delays through this area and adjust travel times accordingly.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Fordtown Road between I-81 and Eastern Star Road: Fordtown Road is currently closed to thru traffic.  Motorists should follow signed detour.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

UNION COUNTY, Existing SR 33 Bridge over Clinch River (Norris Lake) Weight Restrictions: The existing State Route 33 Bridge over Norris Lake is posted with weight limit restrictions and is being strictly enforced.  Weight restrictions are: 5 axle vehicles are 35 tons; 3 or 4 axle vehicle is 22 tons; 2 axle vehicles are 20 tons.  VEHICLES WEIGHING IN EXCESS OF THE RESTRICTED WEIGHTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CROSS THE BRIDGE AND MUST FOLLOW A DETOUR ROUTE. Motorists should use extreme caution and be prepared to stop approaching the bridge.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, US 11E between SR 36 and SR 381: Motorists should be alert for new traffic patterns and lane shifts through this project. Temporary daytime lane closures in both directions may occur at various times through this construction project. Motorists should reduce speeds and be alert for workers and equipment present in this area.

WASHINGTON/SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 75 between SR 36 and SR 357: Intermittent lane closures will be implemented in the north and south bound lanes throughout the construction project.  The contractor has changed the traffic pattern onto the new asphalt beginning at Boone Dam Road and extending to Herron Drive.  Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 36 between SR 354 and SR 75: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and flag persons directing traffic at various times through this project.  Short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur daily through this project for utility and equipment crossings.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
