NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has temporarily closed access to Marrowbone Lake in Joelton while it does maintenance work to some of the lake’s facilities.

A public lake operated by the TWRA, Marrowbone is a 60-acre impoundment that provides fishing opportunities throughout the year in north Davidson County. It is one of 18 TWRA managed lakes in the state.

Marrowbone is scheduled to reopen Wednesday, Sept. 7, according to Todd St. John of TWRA’s Region II office.
