REGION 3, On-Call Guardrail:Thursday April 7 through Tuesday April 12, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Wilson, Sumner, Maury, Giles, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair.
 
REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.
 
REGION 3, On-Call Striping:Thursday April 7 and Friday April 9, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures in Davidson, Wilson, and Sumner Counties on ramps entering and exiting the interstate in order to replace or install striping on the roadway. 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit.
 
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams).
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.
  • Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control and shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13: No closures scheduled. 
 
DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
    • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and one mile north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39)
    • I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)
  • Monday April 11 through Wednesday April 13, 8PM-5AM, I-24 Eastbound at (MM 39.6) north of Old Hickory Blvd, one right lane closed for foundation installation, one lane to remain open.
  • Friday April 8 at 8PM through Monday April 11 at 5AM, One left lane closed in both directions on I-24 at MM 63, between Old Hickory Blvd (MM 62) and Waldron Rd (MM 64), 3 lanes remain open to backfill and pour median transition walls.
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be extending the barrier rail entrance and exits to accommodate trucks entering and exiting the median in the construction of the detour for Phase One. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair: The contractor has begun a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The project includes partial and full depth concrete repairs to the roadway, as well as bridge deck repairs. Most of the work is scheduled to take place at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays. However, there are at least 8 weekends where the contractor will be allowed to have lane closures beginning at 7PM Friday night to 6AM Monday morning. It is planned that 2 lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction except between the hours of 10PM-5AM where traffic could be restricted to a single lane. 
***CURRENT ACTIVITIES***
  • Thursday, April 7, 2011, eastbound (LM 10.9/MM 181.9) from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for preparation of temporary widening and strengthening of the inside shoulder. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.
  • Friday, April 8, 2011 at 7PM through Monday, April 11 at 6AM eastbound (LM 10.9/MM 181.9). The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed for removal and strengthening of the inside shoulder. Once this shoulder work is completed all three existing lanes of traffic will be shifted to the left in anticipation of removal and replacement of a 500 ft section of failed concrete pavement the following weekend (April 15 – April 18). Two lanes of traffic will be maintained except for between the hours of 10PM-5AM in which only one lane will be available. THP will assist with traffic control.
  • Monday, April 11 through Wednesday, April 13, 2011 eastbound and westbound from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for bridge deck repairs. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday April 6 through Wednesday April 13, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guard rail:
·         I-40, Shelby County eastbound (MM 10.6 to MM 11.1), two lanes to remain open.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge Rehabilitation US-64/Summer Avenue:Friday, April 8, 8:00 p.m. – Monday, April 11, 6:00 a.m.: There will be two lanes closed at a time in order to make repairs to the bridge approaches. One lane will remain open. All lanes will remain open on US64/Summer Avenue.

DICKSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 in Dickson, Hickman, & Humphreys Counties (MM 148 – MM 182):Monday April 11 through Friday April 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be laneclosures on I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 163 to MM 181 in Dickson County in order to perform guardrail work. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

  • Saturday April 9, 7AM-7PM, Close one lane eastbound and westbound of I-40 to install storm sewer in median and also there will be closures on Robertson Road in order to shift traffic. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
  • Monday April 11 through Wednesday April 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound closed in order to remove the old bridge over I-40. At approximately 10 PM, there will be a second lane closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Bridge Repair:Thursday April 7, 8PM-5AM, I-40 westbound at mile marker 205, two right lanes will be closed to repair potholes in bridge deck. Two lanes will remain open.
 
SMITH COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 7, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound in Smith County at MM 263, (Caney Fork Bridge) in order to repair the bridge deck. One lane will remain open.
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East near Mile Marker 344.9: On Sunday night, April 10, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday April 6 through Wednesday April 13, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guard rail:

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday April 6 through Wednesday April 13, there will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and MM 62.5 in order to perform some maintenance work and install barrier rail. One lane will remain open.

OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.
 
 
I-75
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 112.5 and 117.5:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
 
CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 South near Mile Marker 144.7:On Monday night, April 11, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
