REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday April 14 through Tuesday April 19, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Robertson, Cheatham, Sumner, Maury, Giles, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair.
 
REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.
 
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit.
 
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 18 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams).
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.
  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control and shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday April 14, 8PM-3AM, The right lane will be closed on I-24 westbound between mile marker 34 and mile marker 32 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open. 
 
DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
    • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and one mile north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39)
    • I-24, both directions, between Haywood Lane and Bell Rd (MM 57 to MM 59)
    • I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)
·         Thursday April 14, 8PM-5AM, I-24 Westbound, one right lane at MM 63, between Old Hickory Blvd (MM 62) and Waldron Rd (MM 64), 3 lanes remain open.
  • Sunday April 17 through Wednesday April 20, 8PM-5AM, I-24 Eastbound at (MM 39.6) north of Old Hickory Blvd, one right lane closed for foundation installation, one lane to remain open.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20: No closures scheduled. 
 
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, I-24 Joint Stabilization:Thursday April 14 through Sunday April 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound from MM 82.0 to MM 89.0 for joint stabilization work.
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be shifting traffic from the existing westbound I-24 lanes on to the detour constructed in Phase 1. This will take several nights of shifting barrier rail and paving to accomplish. Westbound traffic will continue to use existing Ramp B at Exit 152 (Kimball) while construction continues on the new westbound exit ramp. Work is beginning on the new bridge eastbound since traffic in this direction has already been shifted. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair: The contractor has begun a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The project includes partial and full depth concrete repairs to the roadway, as well as bridge deck repairs. Most of the work is scheduled to take place at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays. However, there are at least 8 weekends where the contractor will be allowed to have lane closures beginning at 7PM Friday night to 6AM Monday morning. It is planned that 2 lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction except between the hours of 10PM-5AM when traffic could be restricted to a single lane.
  • ***CURRENT ACTIVITIES***
    • Thursday, April 14, 2011, eastbound (LM 10.9/MM 181.9) from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) to shift traffic and place barrier rail in preparation for removal and replacement of a 500 ft section of failed concrete pavement. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.
    • Friday, April 15, 2011 at 7PM through Monday, April 18 at 6AM eastbound (LM 10.9/MM 181.9). The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for the removal and replacement of 500 ft. of failed concrete pavement. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained except for between the hours of 10PM-5AM in which only one lane will be available. It is anticipated that all of this repair can be completed in one weekend. However, if this is not possible then the remaining repairs will be completed the next available weekend (April 29 – May 3). THP will assist with traffic control.
    • Monday, April 18 through Wednesday, April 20, 2011 eastbound and westbound from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for bridge deck repairs. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-26 Eastbound Exit Ramp over Boones Creek:Motorists should be alert for a closed shoulder, workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 36 and 40: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures during daylight hours and use caution through this resurfacing project.

TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday April 13 through April 20, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge Rehabilitation US-64/Summer Avenue:Friday, April 15, 8:00 p.m. – Monday, April 18, 6:00 a.m.: There will be two lanes closed at a time in order to make repairs to the bridge approaches. One lane will remain open. All lanes will remain open on US64/Summer Avenue.
 
REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday April 13 through Wednesday April 20, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guard rail.
  • I-40, Shelby County westbound “Off” ramp to Summer Avenue (Exit 12A), ramp shift right.
  • I-40, Fayette County westbound (MM 42.7 to MM 42.2), one lane to remain open.

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating laneclosures on I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 163-182 in order to pave.
  • Friday April 15, 8PM- Monday April 18, 6AM, The eastbound off ramp and the westbound on ramp of I-40 at exit 163 in Dickson County will be closed for concrete repair. Message boards will be utilized.
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 14 through Wednesday, April 20, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Williamson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

  • Monday April 18 through Wednesday April 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be two lanes of I-40 eastbound and westbound at White Bridge Road closed for demolition of the old bridge. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East near Mile Marker 357: On Thursday night, April 14, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

  • I-55, Shelby County northbound ”On/Off” ramp from I-55 SB to I-40 NB (Exit 6B), CLOSED.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: Wednesday April 13 through Wednesday April 20, there will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open. I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, Safety Improvement on I-55 with Crump Boulevard Ramps:Monday, April 18 through Wednesday, April 20: There will be lanes closures westbound Crump Boulevard and Riverside Drive to install barrier rail. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday April 14 through Wednesday, April 20, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Williamson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.   
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and MM 62.5 in order to perform some maintenance work and install barrier rail. One lane will remain open.

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9PM-5AM and Saturday April 16 and Sunday April 17, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to perform drainage crossing and bridge deck replacement.
  • Monday April 18 through Wednesday April 20, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to perform bridge work.

FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.
 
 
I-75
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 112.5 and 117.5:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
 
 
I-275
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-275 North and South between I-640 and Woodlawn Drive: On Sunday night, April 17, 2011, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform roadway maintenance repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
 
I-81
 
GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 36 and 44: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
 
WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
 
 
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
