REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday March 31 through Tuesday April 5, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Wilson, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

REGION 3, On-Call Striping:Wednesday April 6 through Friday April 9, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures in Davidson, Wilson, and Sumner Counties on ramps entering and exiting the interstate in order to replace or install striping on the roadway. 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and Exit 19 (Adams).
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes and for ditch cleaning.
  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control and shoulder work. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Sunday April 3 through Thursday April 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane and a shoulder closed on I-24 eastbound in order to install the containment system used in sandblast and paint operations. 
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Bridge Repair: Tuesday April 5, 8PM-5AM, I-24 westbound at mile marker 58.6 (over Mill Creek), two right lanes will be closed to repair potholes in bridge deck. Two lanes will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
    • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 40)
  • Monday April 4 through Wednesday April 6, 8PM-5AM, I-24 Eastbound at (MM 39.6) north of Old Hickory Blvd, one left lane closed for guardrail installation, one lane to remain open.
  • Monday April 4 through Wednesday April 6, 8PM-5AM, One left lane closed in both directions on I-24 at MM 63, between Old Hickory Blvd (MM 62) and Waldron Rd (MM 64), 3 lanes remain open.
  • Friday April 1 at 8PM through Monday April 4 at 5AM, One left lane closed in both directions on I-24 at MM 63, between Old Hickory Blvd (MM 62) and Waldron Rd (MM 64), 3 lanes remain open for the installation of DMS 57 median foundation. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be extending the barrier rail entrance and exits to accommodate trucks entering and exiting the median in the construction of the detour for Phase One. Any interstate lane closures on I-24 will be at nighttime between 6PM-6AM. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
MARION, HAMILTON, and BRADLEY COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement short duration shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9AM-4PM and anytime on the weekend to perform aerial camera maintenance. There also will be short term nighttime lane closures between the hours of 10PM-6AM at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform guardrail maintenance. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is March 2011. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing beginning west of Chattanooga Creek (LM 6.18 / MM 177) to near Crest Rd. (LM 11.35 / MM 183), including bridge deck repair:  The contractor will soon begin a resurfacing project on I-24 between mile markers 177 - 183 in and around downtown Chattanooga. The project includes partial and full depth concrete repairs to the roadway, as well as bridge deck repairs. Most of the work is scheduled to take place at night between the hours of 7PM-6AM Sundays through Thursdays. However, there are at least 8 weekends where the contractor will be allowed to have lane closures beginning at 7PM Friday night to 6AM Monday morning. It is planned that 2 lanes of traffic will be maintained during construction except between the hours of 10PM-5AM where traffic could be restricted to a single lane. 
  • ***CURRENT ACTIVITIES***
    • Monday, April 4 and Tuesday April 5, 2011 eastbound and westbound from 10PM-5AM. There will be short-term single or double lane closures throughout the length of the project to core existing asphalt overlays on bridges. This is to gather information for the planning of future bridge repair work. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times. THP will assist with traffic control.
    • Wednesday, April 6, 2011, eastbound (LM 10.9/MM 181.9) from 7PM-6AM. The contractor will have either one lane or two lanes closed (only 10PM-5AM) for temporary widening and strengthening of the inside shoulder. Once this work is completed all three existing lanes of traffic will be shifted to the left in anticipation of removal and replacement of a 500 ft. section of failed concrete pavement. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times. THP will assist with traffic control.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge Rehabilitation over Sam Cooper and US64/Summer Avenue:
  • Friday, April 1, 8:00 p.m. – Monday, April 4, 6:00 a.m.: There will be two lanes closed at a time to pave the I-40 Bridge over Sam Cooper Boulevard.   One lane will remain open. Sam Cooper will remain open.
  • Friday, April 1, 8:00 p.m. – Monday, April 4, 6:00 a.m.: There will be two lanes closed at a time in order to make repairs to the bridge approaches. One lane will remain open. All lanes will remain open on US64/Summer Avenue.
 
REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday March 30 through Wednesday April 6, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guard rail:
·         I-40, Haywood/Fayette Counties westbound (MM 50.0 to MM 42.0), one lane to remain open.
·         I-40, Decatur/Henderson Counties eastbound and westbound (MM 115.0 to MM 127.0), one lane to remain open.

  • Saturday April 2 and Sunday April 3, 8AM-7PM, Closure of one lane each direction of I-40 for removal of median wall and installation of storm sewer. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West near Mile Marker 353.8: On Thursday night, March 31, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

  • Wednesday March 30 through Wednesday April 6, there will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Tuesday April 5 through Wednesday April 6, 8PM-3AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between mile marker 60 and mile marker 57 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.   
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and MM 62.5 in order to perform some maintenance work and install barrier rail. One lane will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 ramp to Old Hickory Blvd (Brentwood):Thursday March 31through Wednesday April 6, 9PM-5AM,  There will be alternating lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd. westbound on the bridge over I-65 in order to pour curb and gutter and to remove the concrete island.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):
  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9PM-5AM and Saturday April 2, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to perform drainage crossing and bridge deck replacement.
  • Monday April 4 through Wednesday April 6, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to perform bridge work.
 
 
FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.
 
 
I-75

HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.:The contractor is performing grading operations and constructing the new bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is January 2012. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 112.5 and 117.5:Motorists should be alert for a lane closure on I-75 North and South approaching Mile Marker 115 as crews perform bridge deck repairs. The lane closure will be in place around the clock until repairs are complete. Once bridge deck repairs are complete, motorists should be alert for lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential long delays and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 36 and 44: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
 
WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 50 and 54: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for equipment and workers present, expect potential delays and use caution in this area.
