2011 Public Turkey Hunting Applications Available for the Milan Army Ammunition Plant

MILAN, Tenn. --- The Milan Army Ammunition Plant will conduct a public drawing for 12 turkey permits during the 2011 spring turkey season. Application deadline is Feb. 17.
Tennessee’s statewide 2011 spring turkey season runs from April 2-May 15.

Milan Army Ammunition Plant encompasses 22,436 acres in Gibson and Carroll counties. Public hunting is allowed on four areas around the southern portion of the installation.
