REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday February 17 through Tuesday February 22, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Cheatham, Robertson, Montgomery, Dickson, Williamson, Sumner, Maury, Marshall, Dickson, Giles, Wilson, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail repair.
 
REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.
 
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance: Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit.
 
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and exit 19 (Adams).
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning.
  • Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad:Sunday February 20 through Thursday February 24, 8PM-6AM, The outside lane and shoulder will be closed on I-24 eastbound in order to install the containment system used in sandblast and paint operations. 
 
DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:Friday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
  • I-24, both directions, between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 62 to MM 64)
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and performing grading and bridge work. There will be nighttime closures on I-24 between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. during this report period. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is February 2011.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday February 16 through Wednesday February 23, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 6.3 to MM 7.0), two lanes to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound Exit 8, ramp shift Jackson Avenue southbound ramp to I-40 eastbound.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 11.2 to MM 12.1), two lanes to remain open.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 over Sam Cooper: The next 5 weekends, some weekdays, closures are planned to complete these repairs.
  • Friday February 18, 8:00 p.m. through Wednesday February 23, 6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures eastbound to repair the I-40 bridge deck over Sam Cooper Blvd. There will be 2 lanes closed and one through lane open.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance: Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, (excluding weekends), 7PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-40 in both directions in Cheatham County between mile marker 186 and mile marker 192 in order to patch potholes in the concrete bridge decks. One lane will remain open.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Markers 353 and 354: On Monday night, February 21, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.
 
LOUDON COUNTY, I-75 North / I-40 East approaching Watt Rd. (Exit 369): On Thursday night, February 24, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews replace an overhead sign structure. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use caution traveling through this area.
 
JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-40 East between Mile Markers 423 and 424: On Wednesday night, February 23, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-640 East and West between Broadway (Exit 6) and I-75/I-275 Interchange (Exit 3):On Sunday, February 20, 2011, motorists should be alert for lane closure in each direction through this area between the hours of 8 a.m. and Noon as crews remove and replace an overhead Dynamic Message Sign over the westbound lanes. There will be a series of brief rolling roadblocks on the westbound side during this time. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect delays and use extreme caution through this area. Thru traffic should follow I-40 during this time to avoid delays.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday February 16 through Wednesday February 23, There will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One southbound lane will remain open.
 
 
I-155
 
TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday February 16 through Wednesday February 23, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
 
DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River: Wednesday February 16 through Wednesday February 23: Beginning at mile marker 9 in Missouri and extending to mile marker 1 in Tennessee. There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.
 
DYER COUNTY:   Wednesday February 16 through Thursday February 17: The entrance and exit ramps at the following locations will be closed during work. Ramp closures will be staggered to allow access to and from some of the interchanges at all times.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and the bridge over the Harpeth River in order to perform clearing and grubbing operations. One lane will remain open.

  • Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, 9PM-5AM and Saturday February 19, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to install the signal crossing and traffic adjustment.
  • Thursday February 17 through Wednesday February 23, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 north and south bound in order to remove the bridge overhang.
 
FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.
