Special Meeting of TWRC to Be Held Nov. 15 Via Conference Call

NASHVILLE --- A special called meeting of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission will be held via conference call on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at noon (CDT). The only item on the agenda is related to commercial fishing.
 
The commission will hear a proposal concerning the current length limits and handling procedures on paddlefish in waters currently open to commercial paddlefish harvest. The proposed changes pertain to Proclamation 11-26.
 
Interested members of the public and media representatives wishing to attend the conference call should be seated by noon in the main conference room of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s Nashville office. The office is located in the Ellington Agricultural Center at 5107 Edmondson Pike. For those persons in other areas of the state who wish to participate, they may do so at one of three TWRA Regional Offices. This applies to those persons in Regions I (Jackson), III (Crossville), and IV (Morristown) as the Nashville Office is located in Region II.
 
The TWRC’s next regular meeting will be held Dec. 8-9 in Nashville at the TWRA Region II Ray Bell Building.
