REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday January 13 through Wednesday January 19, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday January 13, Friday January 14, Tuesday January 18 and Wednesday January 19, 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday January 13, Friday January 14, Tuesday January 18 and Wednesday January 19, 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday January 13, Friday January 14, Tuesday January 18 and Wednesday January 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday January 13, Friday January 14, Tuesday January 18 and Wednesday January 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. 
  • Thursday January 13, Friday January 14, Tuesday January 18 and Wednesday January 19, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-24 over the Cumberland River:Thursday January 13 through Wednesday January 19: No closures scheduled.

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:Thursday January 13 through Wednesday January 19, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing.
  • I-24, both directions, between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 60 to MM 64)

MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and performing grading work. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is January 2011.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans and westward):
  • Wednesday January 12 through January 19.: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:Wednesday January 12 through Thursday January 20, 8:00 p.m,.-6:00 a.m.: Repairs will be made onI-40 in Shelby County, east and west bound between Exit 2/Chelsea Avenue and Exit 5/Hollywood Drive. One lane will remain open.

REGION 3, On-Call Concrete Repair:Thursday January 13 through Wednesday January 19, 8AM-4PM, The ramp at exit 258 (Carthage/Gordonsville) on I-40 eastbound will be shifted to one side in order to replace deteriorated concrete. The ramp will remain open.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Markers 357 and 358: On Thursday night, January 13, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. The NEW northbound lanes at I-55 are open to traffic.
  • Wednesday January 12 through Wednesday January 19, There will be intermittent lane closures southbound at mile marker 8 to mile marker 9 in order to perform work on Interstate between bridge 1 and 2. One northbound lane will remain open.

TDOT Maintenance:Wednesday January 12 through January 19, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations in Region 4 in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River: Wednesday January 12 through Wednesday January 19: Beginning at mile marker 9 in Missouri and extending to mile marker 1 in Tennessee. There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96
  • Thursday January 13 through Wednesday January 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and the bridge over the Harpeth River in order to install portable barrier rail. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday January 13, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be one lane closed on I-65 southbound just past SR 96 in order to replace a damaged attenuator.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III: Saturday, January 15, 7AM-10AM, One right lane closed on SR-253 (Concord Rd) on the Eastbound approach to the bridge over I-65 in Brentwood to attach a CCTV to an existing pole, one lane will remain open.

FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North between Mile Markers 127 and 128:On Monday night, January 17, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable barrier repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 72 and 73:Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures in this area on Mondays through Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform overhead bridge work. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution traveling through this area.
