TDOC Seeks Help Locating Escapee

NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Department of Correction is asking for the public's assistance in locating an escaped inmate who may now be in northern Alabama or Florida. 

Arthur Milks, 38, escaped from the Henderson County, Tennessee jail on Sunday, July 25 by jumping over a fence.  Sometime between 6:30 Tuesday night and 7:30 this morning, Milks is believed to have broken into an Alabama Department of Transportation office in Moulton, Alabama and stolen clothes, food and a 2010 white Ford F-150 pickup truck.  The truck has four doors, a black bed cover, an antenna bolted to the roof and the license tage number S5066A.

Arthur Milks may be wearing khaki pants and a yellow and green stripped polo.

Milks was sentenced in 2007 to a 22-year prison sentence for possession of prohibited weapons, burglary, theft and vandalism.  He would have been eligible for parole in 2015.

Anyone with information on this escaped inmate should not approach but contact their local law enforcement agency immediately.
