State and Local Leaders to Announce Expansion of Memphis Farmers Market

MEMPHIS – Tennessee Agriculture Commissioner Ken Givens will join other state and local leaders to announce a state grant for the expansion of the Memphis Farmers Market. The Memphis Farmers Market is a weekly non-profit outdoor market featuring local farmers and artisans. The market showcases locally sourced produce and food items and locally produced arts and crafts from the Mid-South region and also serves to educate the community about eating local, nutrition and food choices.
