Middle Tennessee Construction June 3 – June 9, 2010
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 10AM-10:15 AM and 1PM to 1:15 PM, (excluding weekends), There will be rolling roadblocks for both eastbound and westbound I-40 for blasting on the north side of I-40.
Friday June 4 and Saturday June 5, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane and ramp closures on I-440 eastbound in order to install permanent striping.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9 (excluding Sunday), 1PM-1:15PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound and southbound at Rosa Parks Blvd in order to blast for ramp widening.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating closures on I-65 northbound and southbound at Rosa Parks Blvd in order to erect the steel bridge beams and remove the bridge deck.
Friday June 4, Saturday June 5 and Monday June 7, 9AM-11AM, There will be short stoppages of traffic on I-65 northbound and southbound at Rosa Parks Blvd for the placement of bridge beams.
Monday June 7, Tuesday June 8, and Wednesday June 9, 8PM-6AM, The I-40 Eastbound ramp to Exit 210 C (2nd & 4th Avenue) will be closed for milling and paving operations.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 8PM-6AM (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating two lane closure on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9: No closures scheduled.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.

Saturday June 5, 9AM-6PM, There will be one lane closed on Hillsboro Rd. in order to pave the roadway and shift traffic. Flaggers will be utilized.

Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on the following routes in order to install cable barrier rail.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Wilson, Williamson and Smith Counties for guardrail repair and installation.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9AM-3PM, (each day), There will be one lane closed on I-40 Westbound at MM 150 and on I-40 Eastbound at MM 152 for emergency bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.
Tuesday June 1 through Tuesday June 15, Industrial Park Road in Columbia will be closed in order to complete the “tie-ins” on each end of the project.

Thursday June 3 and Friday June 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 102 between I-24 and SR 266 for striping.
Thursday June 3, 8PM-5AM, each day, The I-65 northbound exit ramp onto SR 41 westbound will be closed for painting of the I-65 bridge over SR 41.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on Concord Road from Crockett Rd. to Sunset for paving, curb construction and the placement of erosion control measures. Flaggers will be utilized for this operation.
Now through approximately Thursday September 30, Concord Rd. will be closed from Edmondson Pike to Crockett Rd. in order to widen the roadway. Detours will be in place with message boards.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Mt. Juliet Road (SR-171) northbound and southbound, from Division Street to Lebanon Road, for the purpose of performing storm sewer installation, bridge widening and barrier rail installation.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 from I-40 to US 70 (SR 24) for paving operations.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 7PM-5AM, I-40 eastboundand westbounddowntown ramp work at Charlotte Ave., Church St., Broadway and Demonbreun St. exits will result in lane shifts.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, (excluding weekends), 8PM-6AM, The Trinity Lane on ramp to Ellington Parkway southbound will be closed for ramp work. All lanes will be closed. Message boards will be used.
Thursday June 3, 8PM-6AM, I-65 northbound at MM 87 will have two lanes closed for milling work. Two lanes will remain open.
Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM There will be temporary slowdown in the following locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning.
Saturday June 5 and Sunday June 6, 6AM-2PM There will be rolling roadblocks in the left lane at the following locations in Davidson County for cleaning grates and removing vegetation:

Thursday June 3 through Wednesday June 9, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 189 and mile marker 191 in order to patch potholes and repair concrete on bridge deck. One lane will remain open.
Sunday June 6, 6AM-4PM, On I-440 at the Bransford Ave. overpass in Davidson County. This request by Nashville Electric Service, is for transferring transmission lines and dropping four lines over I-440. Four rolling stop blocks are expected. Four police cars will be present.
Sunday June 6, 7AM-2PM, On I-40 at the 109 Interchange in Wilson County. This request by AT&T for placing one Fiber Optic Cable over I-40. One rolling stop block is expected.
