REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday May 13 through Tuesday May 18, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates in Davidson County for guardrail repair and installation.

REGION 3 Installation of Cable Barrier:Thursday May 13 through Wednesday May 19, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound MM 34-45 in Davidson County in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:

Thursday May 13 through Wednesday May 19, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.

o I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)

Road Closures: There will be periodic traffic stoppage, 30 minute maximum, on I-24 and Vietnam Veterans Pkwy to install DMS signs. Closures will begin at 11pm and potentially continue until 5am. Uniformed officers will be used to pace/stop traffic. One lane closed at 8pm at each location with a second potentially added on I-24 sites as needed. This operation is contingent on the availability of Metro officers.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from Haywood Lane to Rutherford Co. line:Thursday May 13 through Wednesday May 19, 7AM-7PM, Traffic on the Old Hickory Blvd. ramps will be shifted in order to perform ramp repairs. Ramps will remain open.

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. On weekdays during non-peak hours, the contractor will have a right lane closure on SR-29 South at MM 2.5. Three lanes are to remain open with third available lane used as acceleration lane for on-ramp from Manufacturers Road. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River:

Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans):
- Wednesday May 12 12AM through Friday May 14, 7PM: There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed.
- Friday May 14, 7PM through Monday May 17, 6AM: There will be one eastbound lane & two westbound lanes closed.
- Monday May 17, 6AM through Wednesday May 19: There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed.
Various closures for existing four lane section (east of the arch spans):
- Friday May 14, 7PM through Monday May 17, 6AM: There will be one westbound lane closed.
- Monday May 17, 7PM through Tuesday May 18, 6AM: There will be one westbound lane closed.
- Friday May 14, 7PM through Monday May 17, 6AM: The westbound entrance ramp (Ramp IL/D) located just east of the arch spans will be closed.

REGION IV Maintenance:Wednesday May 12 through Wednesday May 19, 8AM-4:00PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

REGION IV On-Call Guardrail

Thursday May 12 through Thursday May 20, 8PM-6AM, There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail and cable rail.

o I-40, Fayette County, eastbound (MM 37.5 to MM 38.0), 1 lane to remain open.

o I-40, Madison County, eastbound (MM 73.4 to MM 79.0), 1 lane to remain open.

HENDERSON COUNTY Design-Build on SR-104 over I-40 MM 101.00:Saturday May 15 & Sunday May 16, 6AM-6PM: There will be one lane closures on I-40 eastbound & westbound to divert traffic onto the ramps over SR 104 & back to I-40. This lane closure is required for Phase 2 demolition of the old existing SR-104 Bridge over I-40. SR 104 & the bridge located @ MM 101 will be closed to local traffic entering I-40. Traffic will be flagged on SR 104. THP will assist with lane closures on I-40.

DECATUR COUNTY-Resurfacing on I-40 @ CARROLL CO. line LM-0.00 to the BENTON CO. line LM-5.67:Sunday May 16 through Friday May 21, 7PM-6AM, There will be night time lane closures eastbound and westbound (MM 121 to MM 126) in order to perform paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)

Monday May 17 through Wednesday May 19, 10AM-10:15 AM and 1PM to 1:15 PM, There will be rolling roadblocks for both eastbound and westbound I-40 for blasting on the north side of I-40.

Tuesday May 18 through Saturday May 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound at the White Bridge Rd. overpass for the removal of conduit. No more than two lanes in one direction will be closed at a time.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on New Hope Rd. over I-40:Monday May 17 and Tuesday May 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 (MM221.8) at New Hope Rd. in order to texture coat the bridge.

TDOT Utilities: DAVIDSON and WILSON COUNTIES:

Sunday May 16, 6AM-4PM, On I-40 & I-65, 300' south of Jo Johnson Ave. overpass near MM 209 in Davidson County. This request by Nashville Electric Service for transferring transmission lines and pulling conductor strands over the interstate. Four rolling stop blocks are expected. Eight police cars will be present.

Sunday May 16, 7AM-2PM, On I-40 at 109 Interchange in Wilson County. This request by AT&T for placing one strand across I-40. One rolling stop block is expected.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for a potential rolling road block due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair. All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated completion date is July 2010.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from MM 300 to MM 304: The contractor will have nighttime lane closures from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following morning for cold planing and resurfacing activities. Estimated completion date is July 2010.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from MM 304 to MM 306: The contractor will have nighttime lane closures from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following morning for cold planing and resurfacing activities. Estimated completion date is July 2010.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East near Mile Marker 350: On Thursday night, May 13, 2010 between the hours of 8PM and 6AM the following morning, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East between Mile Markers 352 and 355: On Sunday night, May 16, 2010 between the hours of 8PM and 6AM the following morning, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Markers 356 and 364: On Monday night, May 17, 2010 through Wednesday night, May 19, 2010 between the hours of 8PM and 6AM the following morning, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395):Motorists should be alert for lane closures in both directions on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews resurface the roadway in this area. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 397 and 400: On Thursday night, May 13, 2010 between the hours of 8PM and 6AM the following morning, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East at Mile Marker 5.00 near Northshore Drive Exit: On Wednesday night, May 12 2010 between the hours of 8PM and 6AM the following morning, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area as crews install median cable barrier. Saturday May 15, 6AM through Monday May 17, 6AM, I-440 westbound from I-65 to I-40 will be closed in order to stripe the roadway and install snowplowable markers.

I-55

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.

Wednesday May 12 through Wednesday May 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (MM 8 to MM 9) in order to perform bridge construction (Bridge 1, Mallory Ave. overpass). One westbound lane will remain open.

I-155

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair: Wednesday May 12 through Wednesday May 19, 7AM-7AM, Beginning at MM 9 in Missouri and extending to MM 1 in Tennessee. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

DYER COUNTY Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repairs on I-155 near the rest area LM-9.00 to US-51(SR-3) LM-15.93

Wednesday May 12 through Wednesday May 19, 7AM-7PM, Beginning at LM-9.00 and extending to LM-15.93. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for milling, resurfacing and traffic counter installation on I-155.

SUMNER COUNTY, Bridge repair of two bridges on I-65 over U.S. 31W & on US 31W over US 41

Friday May 14, 8PM through Monday May 17, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound in order to repair bridge deck. One lane will remain open.

Friday May 7, 8PM through Monday May 10, 5AM, The I-65 northbound ramp to SR 41 west will be closed for bridge painting. (This closure is dependent on the opening of Vietnam Veterans Blvd.)

I-69

Obion County-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:CLOSED thru November 3, 2011, Brevard Road, George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road is closed to through traffic. Detour signs will be posted to guide drivers around the construction area.

I-75

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 widening project from 1.1 miles south of Lee Highway (SR-2, US-11) to 1.2 miles north of Lee Highway (SR-2, SR-11): The contractor will have a lane closure on I-75 North and South between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM to accommodate new concrete paving operations. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. The contractor will have lane closures on Hill Top Road, Hunter Road, Snow Hill Road, Mountain View Road, Lee Highway, and Old Lee Highway from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM to construct new roadway and accommodate bridge construction. However, the contractor must move off the roadway from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM each day during the shift change at Miller Industries. One lane will remain open at all times. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

MCMINN COUNTY, I-75 resurfacing from north of MM 39 (LM 4) to the rest area at MM 45 (LM 10): This is a nighttime paving project that will take place on I-75 North and South on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times. Estimated completion date is June 2010.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South between Exit 128 (Lake City) and Mile Marker 127: Motorists should be alert for workers present, equipment entering and exiting the roadway and use extreme caution through this noise wall construction project.

No construction activity to report at this time.

I-81

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Mile Markers 57 and 63:Motorists should be alert for lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning as crews mill and resurface the roadway. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Exit 69 and Exit 74:Motorists should be alert for lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning as crews mill and resurface the roadway. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
