REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday May 13 through Tuesday May 18, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates in Davidson County for guardrail repair and installation.
REGION 3 Installation of Cable Barrier:Thursday May 13 through Wednesday May 19, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound MM 34-45 in Davidson County in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
o I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)
Road Closures: There will be periodic traffic stoppage, 30 minute maximum, on I-24 and Vietnam Veterans Pkwy to install DMS signs. Closures will begin at 11pm and potentially continue until 5am. Uniformed officers will be used to pace/stop traffic. One lane closed at 8pm at each location with a second potentially added on I-24 sites as needed. This operation is contingent on the availability of Metro officers.

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. On weekdays during non-peak hours, the contractor will have a right lane closure on SR-29 South at MM 2.5. Three lanes are to remain open with third available lane used as acceleration lane for on-ramp from Manufacturers Road. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

HENDERSON COUNTY Design-Build on SR-104 over I-40 MM 101.00:Saturday May 15 & Sunday May 16, 6AM-6PM: There will be one lane closures on I-40 eastbound & westbound to divert traffic onto the ramps over SR 104 & back to I-40. This lane closure is required for Phase 2 demolition of the old existing SR-104 Bridge over I-40. SR 104 & the bridge located @ MM 101 will be closed to local traffic entering I-40. Traffic will be flagged on SR 104. THP will assist with lane closures on I-40.
DECATUR COUNTY-Resurfacing on I-40 @ CARROLL CO. line LM-0.00 to the BENTON CO. line LM-5.67:Sunday May 16 through Friday May 21, 7PM-6AM, There will be night time lane closures eastbound and westbound (MM 121 to MM 126) in order to perform paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on New Hope Rd. over I-40:Monday May 17 and Tuesday May 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 (MM221.8) at New Hope Rd. in order to texture coat the bridge.
TDOT Utilities: DAVIDSON and WILSON COUNTIES:
PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for a potential rolling road block due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair. All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated completion date is July 2010.
PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from MM 300 to MM 304: The contractor will have nighttime lane closures from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following morning for cold planing and resurfacing activities. Estimated completion date is July 2010.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from MM 304 to MM 306: The contractor will have nighttime lane closures from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following morning for cold planing and resurfacing activities. Estimated completion date is July 2010.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395):Motorists should be alert for lane closures in both directions on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews resurface the roadway in this area. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 397 and 400: On Thursday night, May 13, 2010 between the hours of 8PM and 6AM the following morning, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area as crews install median cable barrier. SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair: Wednesday May 12 through Wednesday May 19, 7AM-7AM, Beginning at MM 9 in Missouri and extending to MM 1 in Tennessee. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

Obion County-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:CLOSED thru November 3, 2011, Brevard Road, George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road is closed to through traffic. Detour signs will be posted to guide drivers around the construction area.

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 widening project from 1.1 miles south of Lee Highway (SR-2, US-11) to 1.2 miles north of Lee Highway (SR-2, SR-11): The contractor will have a lane closure on I-75 North and South between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM to accommodate new concrete paving operations. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. The contractor will have lane closures on Hill Top Road, Hunter Road, Snow Hill Road, Mountain View Road, Lee Highway, and Old Lee Highway from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM to construct new roadway and accommodate bridge construction. However, the contractor must move off the roadway from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM each day during the shift change at Miller Industries. One lane will remain open at all times. Estimated completion date is December 2010.
MCMINN COUNTY, I-75 resurfacing from north of MM 39 (LM 4) to the rest area at MM 45 (LM 10): This is a nighttime paving project that will take place on I-75 North and South on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times. Estimated completion date is June 2010.
ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South between Exit 128 (Lake City) and Mile Marker 127: Motorists should be alert for workers present, equipment entering and exiting the roadway and use extreme caution through this noise wall construction project.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 North and South between Exit 69 and Exit 74:Motorists should be alert for lane closures on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning as crews mill and resurface the roadway. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution traveling through this area.
