REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday April 8 through Tuesday April 13, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Wilson, Sumner, Williamson, Maury, Giles, and Marshall Counties for guardrail repair and installation.
 
TDOT MAINTENANCE, Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties:Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24   eastbound and westbound in Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties between MM 6 and MM 24 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. 
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
       I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and Harding Place (MM 54 to MM 56)
·         Friday April 9 8PM to Monday April 12 6AM, single left lane closures in both directions to install DMS median foundation, 3 lanes remain open.
o    I-24, both directions, between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 59 to MM 62)
·         Friday April 9 8PM to Monday April 12 6AM, single left lane closures in both directions to install DMS median foundation, 3 lanes remain open.
 
TDOT MAINTENANCE, Davidson County:
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
       Thursday April 8, 8PM-5AM, Alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound between mile marker 52 and mile marker 54 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.
       Tuesday April 13 through Wednesday April 14, 7PM-5AM, Two right lanes on I-24 westbound between mile marker 62 and mile marker 61 will be closed for French drain installation. Two lanes will remain open.
       Saturday April 10 and Sunday April 11, 6AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks in the left lane at the following locations in Davidson County for drain cleaning:
o    I-24 both directions from mile marker 50 to mile marker 47
*One lane will remain open.
 
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Maintenance on Traffic Counter:Thursday April 8, 10PM-6AM, There will be two lanes closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound (one direction at a time) at MM 70.0 near Baker Road in order to repair traffic counter loops. At least two lanes will remain open at all times.
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. 
       On weekdays during non-peak hours, the contractor will have a right lane closure on SR-29 South at MM 2.5. Three lanes are to remain open with third available lane used as acceleration lane for on-ramp from Manufacturers Road. 
       There will also be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 pm. and 5:00 a.m., nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. 
       Exceptions to nighttime weekend work will be Saturday night on I-24 East and West at MM 179.6, when the contractor will begin work at 8:00 PM instead of 10:00 PM. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-26 West at Mile Marker 18.6: On Sunday night, April 11, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure as crews perform guardrail repair.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

       HAYWOOD and DECATUR COUNTIES
o    Wednesday April 07 through Tuesday April 13, 8PM-6AM, There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to install longitudinal cable barrier rail.
§ I-40, Haywood County, both directions (MM 60 to MM 42), 1 lane to remain open.
 
DECATUR COUNTY-Resurfacing on I-40 from the CARROLL CO. line LM-0.00 to the BENTON CO. line LM-5.67:Sunday April 11 through Friday April 16, 7PM-6PM, There will be night time lane closures eastbound and westbound (MM 121 to MM 126) in order to perform milling operations. One lane will remain open in each direction. (Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH)

o    I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 139-140 in Humphreys County
o    I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 149-151 in Hickman County
o    I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 170-173 in Dickson County
o    I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 192-194 in Davidson County

One lane will remain open.

       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
       I-40, both directions, between US 70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday April 8 through Saturday April 10, 8PM-5AM, The I-40 westbound off ramp at White Bridge Road and the southbound Briley Parkway flyover to eastbound I-40 will be closed in order to install deck panels
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 10AM-10:15 AM and 1PM to 1:15 PM, (excluding weekends), There will be rolling roadblocks for both eastbound and westbound I-40 for blasting on the north side of I-40.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on New Hope Rd. over I-40
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 8PM-5AM, (excluding weekends),  There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 (MM 221.8) at New Hope Rd. in order to perform concrete repairs. One lane will remain open.
       Monday April 12 through Friday April 30, New Hope Road will be closed for bridge deck repairs. Detours will be in place.
 
PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for a potential rolling road block due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated completion date is July 2010. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East at Mile Marker 348 and 352: On Wednesday night, April 14, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure at Mile Marker 348 as crews install median cable barrier. On Thursday night, April 15, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure at Mile Marker 352 as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West at Mile Marker 352.8: On Tuesday night, April 13, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure as crews perform guardrail repair. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West at Mile Marker 359 and 355: On Monday night, April 12, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure at Mile Marker 359 as crews install median cable barrier. On Tuesday night, April 13, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure at Mile Marker 355 as crews install median cable barrier. LOUDON COUNTY, I-40 West at Mile Marker 364: On Tuesday night, April 13, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Rutledge Pike (Exit 392) and the Holston River Bridge (MM 395):I-40 East and West is reduced to two lanes through this area as crews perform phase 1 of bridge deck repairs and resurfacing. I-40 in this area will be reduced to two lanes around the clock until bridge deck repairs are complete. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential long delays during morning and evening rush hours, and use extreme caution through this area.
 
COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East near the North Carolina State Line: I-40 East remains closed near the North Carolina state line due to a rockslide approximately three miles inside North Carolina. I-40 East is closed just east of the Waterville Exit (Exit 451). I-40 thru traffic should follow I-81 North (Exit 421) to I-26 East (Exit 57A) towards Asheville; however, all exits on I-40 in Tennessee are open and accessible. For updated information, go to: http://www.tdot.state.tn.us/rockslide.htm

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
       Wednesday April 07 through Wednesday April 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (MM 8 to MM 9) in order to perform bridge construction (Bridge 1, Mallory Ave. overpass). One westbound lane will remain open.

o    I-65 northbound and southbound from MM 53-61 in Williamson County
 
TDOT GEOTECH:Tuesday April 13 through Thursday April 15, 9AM-2PM, The right, south bound lane of I-65 from approximately MM 64.24 to MM 64.45 will be closed to drill for a noise wall. One lane will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
       I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pkwy (MM 70 to MM 97)
       Rolling Roadblocks: There will be periodic traffic stoppage, 30 minute maximum, on I-65 to install DMS signs. Closures will begin at 11pm and potentially continue until 5am (9am on Sunday). Metro officers will be used to pace/stop traffic. One right lane closed at 8pm at each location.
o    Saturday April 10 (11PM – 9AM), Monday April 12 (11PM – 5AM) (back-up), Tuesday April 13 (11PM – 5AM) (back-up)
·         DMS 55, MM 79.5, I-65 Southbound, between I-440 and Armory Drive (MM 80 to MM 79)
·         DMS 32, MM 76.5, I-65 Northbound, between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Pl (MM 74 to MM 78)

       Thursday April 8 through Wednesday April 14, 9PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 in both directions and alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. for bridge work and paving. Two lanes of I-65 in both directions will remain open.
       Saturday April 10, 9AM-9PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd for striping and moving traffic signals. One lane will remain open in each direction. If weather does not permit work to be done on this date, it will be done on Sunday April 11 during the same time.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

       Thursday April 8, 6AM through Wednesday April 14, 8PM, There will be one lane closed on SR 41 in each direction (under the I-65 bridge) for bridge painting. One lane will remain open in each direction.
       Friday April 9, 8PM through Monday April 12, 6AM, There will be one lane on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 98 closed for concrete repairs. One lane will remain open in each direction.

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 widening project from 1.1 miles south of Lee Highway (SR-2, US-11) to 1.2 miles north of Lee Highway (SR-2, SR-11): The contractor will only need a lane closure on I-75 during this period if there is an emergency situation which requires maintenance of items. If a lane closure is required, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times. 
       The contractor will have lane closures on Hill Top Road, Hunter Road, Snow Hill Road, Mountain View Road, Lee Highway, and Old Lee Highway from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM to construct new roadway and accommodate bridge construction. However, the contractor must move off the roadway from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM each day during the shift change at Miller Industries. One lane will remain open at all times.
Estimated completion date is December 2010. 
 
LOUDON COUNTY, I-75 South at Mile Marker 76 and I-75 North at Mile Markers 68 and 73: On Thursday night, April 8, 2010 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure as crews install median cable barrier. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.
