NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will mark the beginning of National Work Zone Awareness Week with a special evening event in Nashville. The event will also include an active work zone as crews perform asphalt work on I-40 near White Bridge Road.

Monday’s event will begin at 8:00 p.m. and will be held at the corner of White Bridge Road and Robertson Road across from Richland Baptist Church. Parking for news vehicles and live trucks will be available. The event will last approximately 30 minutes.
