REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday March 4 through Tuesday March 9, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Rutherford, Cheatham, Robertson, and Montgomery Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

TDOT Maintenance:
Montgomery County
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on I-24 both directions between MM 14.0 and MM 16.0 in order to patch potholes.
Davidson County
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    I-24, both directions, between the I-440 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 52 to MM 62), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation.)

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. On weekdays during non-peak hours, the contractor will have a right lane closure on SR-29 South at MM 2.5. Three lanes are to remain open with third available lane used as acceleration lane for on-ramp from Manufacturers Road. There will also be nighttime lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 pm. and 5:00 a.m. to allow the contractor to perform ITS work, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic at various locations along the SR-153 corridor to allow the contractor to pull aerial cable across the roadway. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

Existing six lane cross-section (arch spans) closures
       Wednesday March 3, 12AM through Friday March 5, 7PM: There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed.
       Friday March 5, 7PM through Monday March 8, 6AM: There will be two eastbound lanes & one westbound lane closed.
       Monday March 8, 6AM through Wednesday March 10: There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed.
Existing four lane cross-section (east of the arch spans) closures
       Friday March 5, 7PM through Monday March 8, 6AM: There will be one eastbound lane closed.
       Friday March 5, 7PM through Monday March 8, 6AM: The eastbound exit ramp (Ramp N-O) east of the arch spans will be closed.

TDOT Bridge Inspection & Repair:Saturday March 06, 9AM-11AM, There will be single lane closures both eastbound and westbound on I-40 MM 23.16, in order to inspect the bridge over I-40 (Davis Plantation Rd). One lane will remain open.

Region 4 On-Call Guardrail (RMD Holdings, LTD DBA Nationwide Construction Group)
Wednesday March 3 through Wednesday March 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to install guardrail.
       I-40, Shelby County, both directions (MM 25 to MM 26), 1 lane to remain open.
       I-40, Fayette County, eastbound (MM 33), 1 lane to remain open.
       I-40, Madison County, both direction (MM 75 to MM 93), 1 lane to remain open.
       I-40, Henderson County, both direction (MM 100 to MM 116), 1 lane to remain open.
       I-40, Decatur County, westbound (MM 120), 1 lane to remain open.
       I-40, Benton County, westbound (MM 127 to MM 130), 1 lane to remain open.
 
REGION 4, Installation of Longitudinal Cable Barrier Rail on the Interstate (MM 133 to MM 43:
HAYWOOD and DECATUR COUNTIES
       Wednesday March 3 through Tuesday March 9. I-40 eastbound andwestbound, Haywood County MM 43.00 to MM 60.00  and Madison County MM 88.0 to MM 60.0 from 8PM-6AM, nightly. The contractor will have one lane maintained at all times.

HENDERSON COUNTY Design-Build on SR-104 over I-40 MM 101.00  No scheduled lane closures.
       LOOK AHEAD: Saturday March 13, 6AM-6PM: I-40 eastbound & westbound will have one lane closed and divert traffic onto the ramps over S.R. 104 & back to I-40. This lane closure is required to pour Phase 1 of the new bridge deck. S.R. 104 & the bridge located @ MM 101 will be closed to local traffic entering I-40. Traffic will be flagged on S.R. 104. THP will assist with lane closures on I-40.

       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on I-40 in Dickson County, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
 
REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:
       Thursday March 4 through Tuesday March 9, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Rutherford, Cheatham, Robertson, and Montgomery Counties for guardrail repair and installation.
       Monday March 8 through Wednesday March 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound from MM 208.8 to MM 209.0 in order to texture coat median barrier wall. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    I-40, both directions, between US 70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    I-40, both directions, between the I-24 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 213 to MM 222), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
o    I-40, Westbound, between US70S and east of Charlotte Pike (MM 196 to MM 203), 2 lanes remain open. (multiple locations for foundation installation).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday March 4 through Monday March 15, The right turn lane on Urbandale Avenue to go north on Briley Parkway will be closed for bridge work. 
       Friday March 5, 12 Noon through Sunday March 7, 7PM, The I-40 westbound on ramp at 46th Ave. will be closed for beam storage.
       Saturday March 6, 6AM thru Sunday March 7, 7PM, Urbandale Avenue will be closed from Briley Parkway to Morrow Road. In order to set beams. Local traffic only will be allowed. 
       Saturday March 6, 6AM-7PM, The middle lane on Robertson Road will be closed to work on the bridge diaphragm.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on New Hope Rd. over I-40
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 8PM-5AM,(excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 (MM 221.8) at New Hope Rd. in order to remove the overhang from the bridge. One lane will remain open.

REGION 3 Installation of Cable Barrier:Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 7PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound in Wilson County from MM 235 to MM 250 in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to place mix and set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. All lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated completion date is July 2010. 
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 398 and 399:On Sunday night, March 7, 2010, motorists should be alert for a left lane closure in both directions between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform median work. Motorists should be alert for equipment present and use extreme caution traveling through this area.
 
COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East near the North Carolina State Line: I-40 East remains closed near the North Carolina state line due to a rockslide approximately three miles inside North Carolina. I-40 East is closed just east of the Waterville Exit (Exit 451). I-40 thru traffic should follow I-81 North (Exit 421) to I-26 East (Exit 57A) towards Asheville, however, all exits on I-40 in Tennessee are open and accessible.

       Friday March 5, 8PM through Monday March 8, 6AM, The I-65 northbound and southbound ramps to I-440 westbound will be closed to perform concrete repairs of damaged areas.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: Widening of exist bridges, 3 lanes reduced to 2 each direction. Southbound will be shifted to the newly widening roadway. Traffic switched to new roadway. There will no longer be access to Mallory (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Use Third St (Exit 7) detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed indefinitely.  This existing section of roadway will be new location of the northbound I-55 entrance ramp.  Use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
       Wednesday March 3 through Wednesday March 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (MM 8 to MM 9) in order to perform bridge construction (Bridge 1, Mallory Ave, overpass). One westbound lane will remain open.

o    I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pkwy (MM 70 to MM 97)
       Thursday March 4 through Wednesday March 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and the I-440 Interchange (MM 71 to MM 80), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
o    I-65, both directions, North of Concord Rd (MM 73)
·         Friday at 8pm to Monday at 6am, one left lane closed in both directions to install median foundation, 3 lanes remain open.
o    I-65, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place (MM 76)
·         Thursday March 4 and Friday March 5, double left lane closures in both directions to remove portable barrier rail, 2 lanes remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.)
       Saturday March 6 and Sunday March 7, 6AM-6PM, There will be one lane closed in each direction on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to remove the median and gore areas. One lane will remain open in each direction.

SUMNER COUNTY, Bridge repair of two bridges on I-65 over U.S. 31W & on US 31W over US 41:Saturday March 6, 6AM through Monday March 8, 5AM, SR 41 (Springfield Hwy) will be reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge repair.


I-75

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 widening project from 1.1 miles south of Lee Highway (SR-2, US-11) to 1.2 miles north of Lee Highway (SR-2, SR-11): Work continues on this project.
       The contractor will implement nighttime lane closures on I-75 North from 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following morning during this time period to reconfigure the location of the on-ramp at Lee Highway.  One lane will remain open at all times.
       The contractor will have lane closures on Hill Top Road, Hunter Road, Snow Hill Road, Mountain View Road, Lee Highway, and Old Lee Highway from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM to construct new roadway and accommodate bridge construction. However, the contractor must move off the roadway from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM each day during the shift change at Miller Industries. One lane will remain open at all times.
Estimated completion date is December 2010.
