MEDIA ADVISORY: Teacher Evaluation Advisory Committee meeting

WHAT:            The Tennessee Teacher Evaluation Advisory Committee (TEAC)

The TEAC was created by the General Assembly during special called legislative session in January. The 15-member committee will develop and recommend to the State Board of Education guidelines and criteria for the annual evaluation of teachers and principals.

This is the first meeting of the committee. A formal schedule of meetings
will be determined during this meeting.
