MCCX Inmate Escape

WARTBURG - The Tennessee Department of Correction Internal Affairs Division continues its search for an inmate who escaped from a minimum-custody housing unit in Morgan County during the holiday weekend.  Inmate Robert Lee Grant, 23, broke out of the Morgan County Correctional Complex - Annex by scaling a fence just before midnight on Christmas Eve.

Grant was sentenced in June to six-years in prison for a drug and reckless endangerment conviction in Knox County.  His sentence would have expired in 2014.
