Eaton Inoac Company Receives Governor's Safety Award

Safety Record Dates Back to September 2008
NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development Commissioner James Neeley announced that Eaton Inoac Company in Livingston was chosen to receive the Governor’s Award of Excellence for Workplace Safety.
"Eaton Inoac Company demonstrated strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace," said Bob Henningsen, Deputy Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development, who presented the Governor’s Award of Excellence to the company today at the company’s facility located at 132 Industrial Park Circle in Livingston. “The evaluation criteria for this award are challenging, and this company has worked extremely hard to meet and exceed the standards the award requires.”
The Governor’s Safety Award honors Tennessee employers and employees who meet a required number of hours without workplace injuries serious enough to cause an employee to miss a day of work or restrict normal job activities. The number of hours required is based on the size of the company.
Eaton Inoac in Livingston employs 163 people in the manufacturing of spoilers, body side moldings, roof drip moldings and bumper moldings for the automobile industry. The facility has qualified for the Governor’s Award by working over 300,000 hours without a lost time or restricted duty workplace injury or illness. Their accident free record dates back to September of 2008. This facility has also been recognized as a Volunteer STAR site since 2001.
