All Lane Closure activity is suspended for the Labor Day Holiday Period beginning at noon on Friday, September 4 through 6 a.m. Tuesday, September 8.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 3, 10AM-10:15 AM and (also) 1PM-1:15PM and Friday September 4 (10AM-10:15 only) and Tuesday September 8 through Wednesday September 9, 10AM-10:15 AM and (also) 1PM-1:15PM, Rolling roadblock for I-40 East bound and Westbound traffic for blasting operations on the south side of I-40 in the White Bridge Road area.  
       Tuesday September 8 through Friday September 11; 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Piedmont Natural Gas will close the outside lane of White Bridge Road southbound to work on existing 6” gas line crossing White Bridge and tie over to new line. 
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Charlotte Pike to Westboro Dr:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 3, Tuesday September 8 and Wednesday September 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in order to mill and pave the roadway.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from US 70S to Charlotte Pike:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 3, Tuesday September 8 and Wednesday September 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in order to install guardrail.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Concrete Pavement Repair on I-440:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 3, Tuesday September 8, and Wednesday September 9, 8PM-6AM, each night, There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 in both directions in order to remove permanent striping and repaint lines. One lane will remain open in each direction. Also, there will be alternating ramp closures to remove striping.
 
REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:
       Thursday September 3 through Wednesday September 9, 8PM-6AM, (each night), (excluding holiday weekend), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson County for guardrail repair and installation.
       Thursday September 3 through Wednesday September 9, 9AM-4PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be various shoulder closures in Middle Tennessee on state routes for guardrail repair and installation.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Hillsboro Road drainage, grading, resurfacing, retaining walls:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 3, 9PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on Hillsboro Rd. in order to install permanent pavement markings. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 (Rosa Parks) from I-65 to SR 112: (Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 3 through Wednesday September 9, 8PM-6AM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to install permanent markings. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
REGION 3, Installation of Cable Barrier:
       Tuesday September 8 through Thursday September 10, 8PM-6AM, each night, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 westbound and eastbound in Rutherford County from MM 57 to MM 61 in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday September 3, Tuesday September 8 through Wednesday September 9, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM. There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    Briley Parkway, both directions between I-40 and Centennial Blvd (MM 6 to MM 27)
o    I-24, both directions between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Road (MM 40 to MM 61)
o    I-40, both directions between US-70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)
o    I-65, both directions between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pike (MM 70 to MM 97)
o    I-440, both directions between Hillsboro Pike and I-24 (MM 3 to MM 7)
o    Ellington Parkway, both directions between Briley Pkwy and Spring Street
       Thursday September 3, Tuesday September 8 through Wednesday September 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    Briley Pkwy, both directions, between Elm Hill Pike and Brick Church Pike, (MM 7 to MM 27), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for structures and shoulder work).
o    Briley Pkwy, both directions, between McGavok Pike and Gallatin Pike (MM 13 to MM 14)
    • Tuesday September 8 and Wednesday September 9, double left lane closures, 2 lanes remain open, for removal of portable barrier rail.
    • I-40, both directions, between the Briley Pkwy Interchange and Donelson Pike (MM 215 to MM 216)
    • Tuesday September 8 and Wednesday September 9, double left lane closures, 3 lanes remain open, for installation of portable barrier rail.
    • I-40, both directions, between the I-24 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 213 to MM 222), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
    • I-40, Westbound, between Memphis Bristol (US70) and east of Charlotte Pike (MM 196 to MM 203), 2 lanes remain open. (multiple locations for foundation installation).
    • I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and the I-440 Interchange (MM 71 to MM 80), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
REGION 3, Retracing of Painted Markings on Interstate and State Routes:
       Thursday September 3 through Thursday September 10, 8AM-5PM each night, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be various rolling closures in Cheatham, Dickson, Montgomery, Robertson, Davidson, Williamson and Moore Counties on State Routes in order to retrace pavement marking.
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Concord Rd. from Sunset Rd. to Edmondson Pike
       Thursday September 3 through Wednesday September 7, 9AM-3PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures from Crockett Rd. to Sunset Rd. in order to clear the right of way. Flaggers will be utilized for this operation.
 
WILSON COUNTY - S.R. 109 from I-40 to S.R. 24 
       Thursday September 3 and Tuesday September 8, 12 Noon-1PM, There will be lane interruptions for blasting both directions of SR 109 at Hickory Ridge Road. Traffic will be stopped for the blast, and maybe delayed up to 15 minutes to remove debris, if necessary.
 
 
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
Davidson County
       Thursday September 3, 9AM-3PM, Friday September 4, 9AM-12 noon and Tuesday September 8 through Wednesday September 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
       Thursday September 3, 9AM-3PM, Friday September 4, 9AM-12 noon and Tuesday September 8 through Wednesday September 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
       Tuesday September 8 through Wednesday September 9, 7PM-5AM, There will be various lane closures on I-65 both directions between Dickerson Road and Trinity Lane to repair areas of the roadway.
Cheatham and Robertson Counties
       Thursday September 3, 8AM-4PM, Friday September 4, 8AM-12 noon and Tuesday September 8 through Wednesday September 9, 8AM-4PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham and Robertson Counties between mile marker 23 and mile marker 28 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open. (Weather permitting)
Hickman County
       Wednesday September 9, 10AM-11AM, The left lane will be closed on I-40 westbound in Hickman County between mile marker 162 and mile marker 163 for the review of the bridge expansion joint.  One lane will remain open.
Rutherford County
       Thursday, September 3, 7PM-5AM, The SR-96 eastbound on ramp to I-24 eastbound will be reduced to one lane for paving. One lane will remain open.
 
THOMAS & ASSOCIATES: Thursday September 3 and Tuesday September 8 through Wednesday September 9, each day, 2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 eastbound and westbound near Waldron Rd. (Exit 64) for blasting. Local police officers will be utilized for this operation.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Utilities:  
       Tuesday September 8 through Thursday September 10, and also Monday September 14, 7PM-6AM, On SR-24, Charlotte Avenue, 340' south of Annex Avenue.  This request, by Drayco Construction Co., is to open-cut for an 8" fire service with 2" water service 18'6" into west margin of Charlotte Avenue, Davidson County.
       Thursday September 3, 7PM-6AM, On SR-106, Hillsboro Rd. from Matthew Lane past Lombardy Lane in the outside lane, Davidson Co.  This request, by AT&T, is to splice underground telephone facilities in manholes.
 
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
