DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30: No closures or blasting scheduled.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Charlotte Pike to Westboro Dr:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions in order to mill and pave the roadway. One lane will remain open.
       Friday September 25, 8PM-12 Noon Saturday September 26, The exit ramp to Charlotte Pike (MM 201) on I-40 eastbound will be closed for concrete repairs.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Concrete Pavement Repair on I-440:(Recovery Act Project)
       Friday September 25, 8PM through Monday September 28, 6AM, I-440 westbound will be closed from I-24 to I-65 for concrete repairs.
 
REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Maury, Marshall, and Giles Counties for guardrail repair and installation.
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-4PM, There will be various shoulder closures in Middle Tennessee on state routes for guardrail repair and installation.
 
REGION 3 Attenuator Repair:
       Thursday September 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-440 westbound at 21st. Ave and I-440 eastbound at Hillsboro Rd. in order to repair an attenuator.
       Tuesday September 29, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on Briley Pkwy. in each direction at Airways Blvd. and one lane closed on I-24 westbound to I-65 northbound at the Silliman Evans Bridge in order to repair an attenuator.
 
REGION 3 Attenuator Upgrade (Site-Safe Products)
       Friday September 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-24 eastbound at I-440 westbound in order to install an attenuator.
       Friday September 25, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on Murfreesboro Rd. in both directions at the airport in order to install an attenuator in the median. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
 
REGION 3, Installation of Cable Barrier:
       Sunday September 20 through Thursday September 24, 8PM-6AM, each night, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 westbound and eastbound in Rutherford County from MM 57 to MM 61, on I-24 eastbound in Coffee County from MM 103 to MM 105, and on I-40 eastbound in Putnam County from MM 275 to MM 278 in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM. There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    Briley Parkway, both directions between I-40 and Centennial Blvd (MM 6 to MM 27)
o    I-24, both directions between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Road (MM 40 to MM 61)
o    I-40, both directions between US-70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)
o    I-65, both directions between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pike (MM 70 to MM 97)
o    I-440, both directions between Hillsboro Pike and I-24 (MM 3 to MM 7)
o    Ellington Parkway, both directions between Briley Pkwy and Spring Street
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    Briley Pkwy, both directions, between Elm Hill Pike and Brick Church Pike, (MM 7 to MM 27), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for structures and shoulder work).
o    I-40, both directions, between the I-24 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 213 to MM 222), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
o    I-40, Westbound, between US70S and east of Charlotte Pike (MM 196 to MM 203), 2 lanes remain open. (multiple locations for foundation installation).
o    I-40, both directions, between Donelson Pike and Briley Pkwy (MM 216 to MM 215).
    • Friday September 25th 8pm to Monday September 28th 6am, 1 left lane in both directions, 4 lanes to remain open.
    • I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and the I-440 Interchange (MM 71 to MM 80), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
       Saturday September 26 and Sunday September 27, 6AM-12PM, Right Lane closures at the following locations to stand CCTV poles:
o    I-40 Westbound, MM 196, US 70S, 2 lanes remain open
o    I-40 Eastbound, MM 201, Charlotte Pike, 2 lanes remain open
o    I-40 Eastbound, MM 202, East of Charlotte Pike, 2 lanes remain open
o    I-40 Westbound, MM 203, West of White Bridge Rd, 2 lanes remain open
 
REGION 3 Retracing of Painted Markings on Interstate and State Routes
       Thursday September 24 through Thursday October 1, 8AM-5PM each day, There will be various rolling closures in Cheatham, Dickson, Montgomery, Robertson, Davidson and Williamson Counties on State Routes in order to retrace pavement marking.
 
REGION 3 Relensing of Snowplowable Markers on various Interstate and State Routes
       Sunday September 27 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile lane closures at the following locations in order to replace snowplowable markers.
  • Rutherford-I-24 MM 70-78 & 81-89
  • Rutherford- SR 1 LM 18 to 28
  • Rutherford- SR 10 LM 0 to 10
  • Rutherford- SR 840 LM 45 to 65
  • Davidson-SR 12

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Concord Rd. from Sunset Rd. to Edmondson Pike
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures from Crockett Rd. to Sunset Rd. in order to clear the right of way and perform excavation. Flaggers will be utilized for this operation.
SMITH COUNTY - I-40 from SR 53 to the Putnam Co. line: (Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 7PM-6AM, One lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to mill and pave the roadway. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
Davidson County
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be various lane closures on I-65 both directions between Dickerson Road and Trinity Lane to repair areas of the roadway.
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 6 (Ellington Pkwy.) from Spring Street to Briley Parkway to remove build-up on shoulders to improve drainage. One lane will remain open.
Cheatham and Robertson Counties
       Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8AM-4PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham and Robertson Counties between mile marker 23 and mile marker 28 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open.
Hickman County
       Thursday September 24 and Tuesday September 29, 8PM-5AM, Alternating lane closures I-40 eastbound and westbound between mile marker 162 and 163 for milling and paving ends of bridges. One lane will remain open.
 
THOMAS & ASSOCIATES: Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, each day, 2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 eastbound and westbound near Waldron Rd. (Exit 64) for blasting. Local police officers will be utilized for this operation.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Utilities:  
       Tuesday September 29 and Wednesday September 30, 7PM-6AM, On SR-1 at 4328 Harding Pike, Davidson County.  This request by, IS Engineering, is for a 6" water service tap.
       Thursday September 24 through Thursday October 1, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be periodically stopped for approximately 5 minutes or less on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad in order for Nashville Electric Service to install guide wires over Gallatin Rd.
       Sunday September 27, 6AM-6PM, On I-40 and Fessler Bridge Overpass, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S., is for transferring nine and adding one new conductor over I-40.  Ten rolling stop blocks are expected.
       Monday September 28 through Friday October 2, 9AM-3PM, On SR-6, Franklin Road from Bradford Avenue for 3700' to Berry Road, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S. is for replacement of poles, anchors and conductor.  Various lane closures are expected throughout the day.
       Monday September 28 through Friday October 2, 9AM-3PM, On SR-254, Old Hickory Blvd. from Stone Brook Drive to Franklin Pike, Davidson County.  This request, from N.E.S., is for replacement of poles and anchors, transferring line.  Various lane closures are expected throughout the day.
