TDOT to Break Ground on Recovery Act Project in McMinnville

Tennessee Department of Transportation officials will join state and local officials on Friday, August 7 to break ground on an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funded project to widen US-70S (SR-1) in Warren County. The $14.9 million project is one of nearly 200 projects TDOT is funding through the Recovery Act.  

 
Tomorrow’s event will begin at 2:00 PM CDT on Pigeon Hill Road which is near the 7900 block of US‑70S. If you are traveling from McMinnville toward Centertown on West US-70S, Pigeon Hill Road is on the right approximately 3.7 miles past the Warren County Memorial Airport. If you are traveling from Centertown toward McMinnville on East US-70S, Pigeon Hill Rd. is on the left approximately 1.7 miles from the Centertown city limits. 
 
Turn onto Pigeon Hill Road to reach the event, which will last approximately 30 minutes.
