TDOT to Join Anchor Trailways & Tours to Launch Intercity Transit Route from Lawrenceburg to Nashville

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner Gerald Nicely will join representatives from Anchor Trailways & Tours and the Metro Transit Authority at the Music City Star Donelson Train Station in Nashville on Wednesday, July 29 to launch a new intercity bus route from Lawrenceburg to Nashville. The new route will provide daily intercity bus services in Davidson, Lawrence, Maury and Williamson Counties. The service is funded by a federal grant administered by TDOT and will include stops in Lawrenceburg, Ethridge, Columbia, Spring Hill, Franklin, downtown Nashville, the Donelson Music City Star Station and Nashville International Airport.
 
Wednesday’s event will begin at 8:00 a.m. central, at the Music City Star’s Donelson Station, 2705 Lebanon Pike, Nashville.  The event will last approximately 30 minutes.
