Governor Bredesen to Break Ground on ARRA Project in Nashville

NASHVILLE - Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen will join Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner Gerald Nicely and other state and local officials in Nashville on Wednesday, July 1 to break ground on an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funded project to construct Phase II of the I-40/White Bridge Road Interchange Improvements. The $32 million project is one of nearly 200 projects TDOT is funding through the ARRA.  
 
Wednesday's event will begin at 2:30 PM at the corner of White Bridge Road and Robertson Avenue, across from Richland Baptist Church. The event will last approximately 30 minutes.
