TWRA to Participate in Etowah's Hunting and Fishing Expo

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will be among the participants at the Third Annual Etowah Hunting and Fishing Expo set for May 2-3 (Saturday-Sunday) in the downtown area.

The family-oriented event will run on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. (EDT) and on Sunday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. There is no admission charge for the expo.
 
TWRA will have its walk-through trailer at the site which features various wildlife and agency information. Also present will be a fish tank. Deer scoring will be conducted on Saturday.
 
 There will be demonstrations in archery, fly casting, fly tying, bass fishing, by professional sportsmen and women. Other demonstrations will be held in retriever training, duck and turkey calling. In addition, there will be antique lure and fishing memorabilia, sports vendors, refreshments, entertainment, and arts and crafts. There will be activities geared toward children.
