Wild Side Weekly Set for Launch

NASHVILLE --- Wild Side Weekly, a weekly television show that will feature hunting and fishing, is set to launch on Nashville’s News Channel 5+ (Channel 50).

Wild Side Weekly will air four times each week. Program times will be Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 5 p.m. and twice on Sunday at 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. The program is a partnership between the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), the Renaissance Center in Dickson and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation.
 
The format of the show will feature current news, news about events, seasons, tips and more to provide timely information for sportsmen. The TWRA, through its various divisions, will provide guests and expertise for the program. Tennessee’s Wild Side, a weekly show that is seen throughout the state on Public Broadcasting Stations, will provide timely segments to the program as well.
 
The hosts for Wild Side Weekly will be Joey Montelone and Chris Nischan. Montelone is an experienced Tennessee angler, instructor, guide and reporter as well as a regular volunteer with TWRA. Nischan is a veteran guide for both hunting and fishing with more than 25 years of experience.
 
News Channel 5+ is available to more than 500,000 cable subscribers in 38 counties from northwest Tennessee to the southeastern portion of the Cumberland Plateau and also to anyone in the viewing area that has a digital antenna.
