REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday November 5 through Wednesday November 11, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Maury, Rutherford, Williamson, Cheatham, Marshall, and Giles Counties for guardrail repair and installation.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:



DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:

o I-24, both directions, between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Rd (MM 40 to MM 61)

o I-24, both directions, between the I-440 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 52 and MM 62), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation.)
THOMAS & ASSOCIATES: Thursday November 5 through Wednesday November 11, each day, 2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 eastbound and westbound near Waldron Rd. (Exit 64) for blasting. Local police officers will be utilized for this operation.
COFFEE COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing project from Noah Fork Creek (LM 3.45/MM100) to US-41 (LM 8.77/MM105): (Recovery Act Project)The contractor will have lane closures from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning to perform resurfacing activity. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Estimated completion date is November 2009.
MARION COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing from US-72/SR-27/SR-150 (LM 17.61) at MM 152 to the Tennessee River (LM 25.84) at MM 161: (Recovery Act Project) The contractor will have lane closures between the hours of 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning to perform resurfacing activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Estimated completion date is December 2009.
MARION and HAMILTON COUNTIES, I-24 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. Estimated completion date is December 2010.

HAMILTON COUNTY, US-27 (I-124) repair of 15 bridges from I-24 (MM 0) to the Olgiati Bridge (MM 2.0): This project is complete and awaiting final inspection and addressing of punchlist items. Estimated completion date is November 2009.
I-26
Washington County,I-26 Bridge over Boones Creek Road (SR 354)(Bridge Repair): The contractor is continuing this bridge repair project. Starting Friday November 6, 2009 the contractor will begin painting operations. This work will cause temporary lane closures on SR 354 (Boones Creek Road) from Friday night at 7:00 pm to Monday at 6:00 am. Motorists please use caution in this area.

FAYETTE COUNTY, Bridge Repair (5) on I-40:Friday, November 6 8PM through Monday, November 9 6AM, westbound and eastbound. The contractorwill have lane closures in order to remove the existing surface, repairing the bridge deck and repaving 1 bridge at LM-6.40 (MM 33.40). One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. (There will be no wide loads permitted this weekend).
Region 4, Relensing of Snowplowable Markers on various Interstates & State Routes

MM 43.27 from 6PM-6AM, nightly. The contractor will have one lane maintained at all times.

Exit 116/SR-114, Natchez Tracefrom 6PM-6AM, nightly. The contractor will have one lane maintained at all times.

o I-40, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and Spence Lane (MM 215 to 213)
· Friday 8pm to Monday 5am, one left lane closed in both directions for median foundation work.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from US 70S to Charlotte Pike:(Recovery Act Project)

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing project from MM 267.25 to MM 274: (Recovery Act Project) The contractor will have lane closures to perform stone and striping operations between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Estimated project completion date is November 2009.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from MM 306 to MM 311 (Plateau Road): Work on this project is complete and awaiting completion of punchlist items. Estimated completion date is November 2009.
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 Westbound Ramp to Hall of Fame Drive (Exit 389): On Monday, November 9, 2009, motorists should be alert for a lane closure on this ramp between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform roadway drainage maintenance. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.
COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East near the North Carolina State Line: I-40 East remains closed near the North Carolina state line due to a rockslide approximately three miles inside North Carolina. I-40 East is closed just east of the Waterville Exit (Exit 451). I-40 thru traffic should follow I-81 North (Exit 421) to I-26 East (Exit 57A) towards Asheville; however, all exits on I-40 in Tennessee are open and accessible. DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Concrete Rehabilitation:(Recovery Act Project) Friday November 6, 8PM through Monday November 9, 6AM, I-440 westbound will be closed from I-24 to I-65 for concrete repairs.
I-640
KNOX COUNTY, I-640 West Flyover Ramp to I-40 East: The flyover ramp from I-640 West to I-40 East is reduced from two lanes to one around the clock as crews perform bridge repairs. Motorist should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area. The estimated completion date for this project is November 15, 2009.
I-55
SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 Resurfacing at Mississippi state line to Nonconnah Creek:


SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: Widening of exist bridges, 3 lanes reduced to 2 each direction. Southbound will be shifted to the newly widening roadway. Traffic switched to new roadway. There will no longer be access to Mallory (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Use Third St (Exit 7) detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed indefinitely. This existing section of roadway will be new location of the northbound I-55 entrance ramp. Use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.

I-155
DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair: bridge repairs, over Mississippi River. Northbound and Southbound shoulders are closed.

I-65
REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday November 5 through Wednesday November 11, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate routes in Davidson, Maury, Rutherford, Williamson, Cheatham, Marshall, and Giles Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

o I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pkwy (MM 70 to MM 97)

o I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and the I-440 Interchange (MM 71 to MM 80), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
I-75
HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 widening project from 1.1 miles south of Lee Highway (SR-2, US-11) to 1.2 miles north of Lee Highway (SR-2, SR-11): The contractor will only need a lane closure on I-75 during this period if there is an emergency situation which requires maintenance of items. If a lane closure is required, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times.



Estimated completion date is December 2010.
HAMILTON and BRADLEY COUNTIES, I-75 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. I-81
Sullivan County, I-81 between South of Exit 63 and North of Exit 69 (Resurfacing): The contractor is continuing this resurfacing project. This work will cause temporary lane closures at night between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am Sunday through Friday. Motorist will also encounter narrowed ramps at Exit 63, 66 and 69 as the contractor works on repairing these ramps. Motorists are asked to use caution in this area.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
Most work is weather dependent and subject to change due to inclement weather.
