MT. PLEASANT --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will hold an auction for numerous boxes of ammunition (primarily rifle/handgun loads) in front of the Maury County Part II Courthouse in Mt. Pleasant starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17.

The agency will sell to highest bidders about 85 boxes that wildlife officers confiscated from a local gun show event where vendors failed to place ammunition stamps on boxes of ammunition being sold.

The TWRA will place a list of the ammunition being sold inside the Maury County Courthouse prior to the sale, agency officials have announced.
