WHAT:            2010 Tennessee Teacher of the Year Award and Celebration

WHEN:          Thursday, Nov. 5 at 6 PM CST, winner announced before 9 PM CST

INFO:             

Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen, Education Commissioner Timothy Webb and the   Tennessee Department of Education will honor the 2010 Teacher of the Year nominees and announce the final winner who will represent the state as an ambassador for education throughout the year.

Any reporter wishing to attend the event must contact Amanda Maynord Anderson for further details. Transportation to the event will be provided by shuttle at 7PM.

The nine finalists for 2010 Teacher of the Year are:
