NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will reduce Interstate 40 East and West in Fayette County to one lane this weekend as work to repair five bridges continues. This weekend’s lane reduction is one of the final weekend lane closures planned on I-40 as crews work to repair the bridge deck surfaces on five interstate bridges east of Memphis in Fayette County.

Troopers from the Tennessee Highway Patrol will be on site in the work zone to provide traffic control as the work is being completed.
