Beyond Basics Fishing Clinic for Men and Women Scheduled Feb. 28 at TWRA Region II Building

NASHVILLE --- A Beyond Basics Fishing Clinic for men and women will be sponsored by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) Feb. 28 in the TWRA Region II Building located at the Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville.

Targeted for ages 16 and up, participants will have the opportunity to learn more beyond the basic level of fishing skills. The free instructional clinic will run from 1-5 p.m. 

Emily Shaffer, a nationally famous professional angler, will teach the class along with her husband and coach, Larry. Both possess years of expertise and experience and a willingness to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport of fishing.
 
The class will be taught primarily indoors. Attendees should know the basics of fishing.
