Media Advisory: Walking Horse & Eastern Railroad Overpass Ribbon Cutting

NASHVILLE - Representatives from the Tennessee Department of Transportation will join state and local leaders in Shelbyville on Tuesday, September 30 to celebrate the completion of a new railroad overpass located along the future Shelbyville Bypass corridor.  The overpass will create a safer environment for motorists by eliminating an at-grade railroad crossing once the bypass is constructed.
 
Tuesday's event will begin at 10:00 AM on Railroad Avenue just east of Stanley Boulevard.  The event will last approximately 30 minutes. Attendees are encouraged to park along Railroad Avenue.
