River Park Health Care Center Admissions Suspension Lifted

Tennessee Department of Health announces that the suspension of admissions at River Park Health Care Center has been lifted. The facility is a 58-bed licensed nursing home located at 1306 Katie Road in Nashville. The Department confirmed the facility has returned to substantial compliance for state licensing purposes, and the deficient practices and conditions have been corrected as stated in the facility’s plan of correction, which was approved by federal and state authorities.

On June 9, the nursing home was ordered not to admit any new residents based on conditions found during a complaint investigation and survey conducted May 14 through June 2. During the investigation, surveyors found violations of the following standards: resident protection, administration, nursing services, performance improvement, resident rights and quality of care.
