Sunbridge Admissions Suspension Lifted

Tennessee Department of Health announces that the suspension of admissions at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for LaFollette nursing home has been lifted effective February 8.

The nursing home is a 182-bed licensed facility located at 136 Davis Lane in LaFollette. The Department confirmed the facility has returned to substantial compliance for state licensing purposes, and the deficient practices and conditions have been corrected as stated in the facility’s plan of correction, which was approved by federal and state authorities. On January 28, Sunbridge was ordered not to admit any new patients based on conditions found during complaint investigation conducted on January 23. During the investigation, surveyors found violations of the following standards: administration; nursing services; and resident protection.
