MEDIA ADVISORY: Tennessee to Launch Electronic Learning Center

WHAT:   The Tennessee Department of Education will unveil its new Electronic
Learning Center, an online resource for educators, parents and students, with
a live demonstration and testimonials from teachers.

Representatives from Apple, Inc., the Tennessee Board of Regents, and the
Tennessee Department of Education

INFO:        Through a partnership with Apple, Inc. and the Tennessee Board of Regents,
the electronic learning center will allow Tennessee students and educators
to access podcast lessons and training sessions developed by the Tennessee
Department of Education. Tennessee is the third state to make video and
audio podcasts available to its K-12 education community through Apple,
Inc.’s i-Tunes U.
